Corporate Entertainment Ideas - Country Pursuits with Reef Subsea

The beautiful Norwood House Hotel was the setting for a day of Corporate Entrainment Ideas in the form of our Country Pursuits event with an eager and very competitive group from Reef Subsea. The prize on offer was our Team Challenge Company trophy. The two teams would battle it out head to head over the afternoon with Axe throwing, Archery and Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting. Archery proved to be very challenging but also great fun as the wind swept across the picturesque glades garden area of the hotel. This was the chance to put some early points on the board!

Everyone improved massively from their first couple of practice attempts as the competition really heated up. Campbell posting some really impressive scores as did Ronye. Team Fear struck exactly that into their Bone Crusher Counterparts, winning the points and the balloon challenge! A slow puncture on The crushers orange balloon could not unfortunately be deemed as a direct hit, despite pressure from the team continually through that round. The highlight of the Archery was Ulik and Ben going head to head on the Bulls eye competition! Ben stepped up and sent an incredible arrow to only a few inches off centre. By all intensive purposes we thought this would be the winner.... Until Ulik stepped up and struck with devastating effect, he posted the arrow within just a few centimeters of the Bulls eye! Axe throwing was up next with the Bone Crushers needing to make up some much needed ground on Team Fear. The axe was proving to be a lot more difficult than theyd imagined however, but no less enjoyable. Each team gave it their all to get ahead in this one. It was Team Fear who took the points though at the twelfth hour with a firm and certain throw.

After the afternoon tea and coffee break it was a chance for revenge for the Bone Crushers as the group moved on to laser clay pigeon shooting. The two teams went toe to toe in a fast paced, frenetic finale to the afternoon as they both knew that winner of the Clays would take home the trophy! Ulik and Aflam battled it out almost single handedly, both looking the part as well with some terminator sunglasses on show. As the clays continued to fly it was becoming ever more apparent that it was team Fears day! Maria and Patrick gave it their all for their respective teams as well - even managing to hit the first stationary clay of the day! It was Team Fear who scooped the glory with 5100 points and some fantastic memories to take home from a fantastic, fun afternoon! The wooden spoon was graciously accepted by Maria for the Bone Crushers as she continued to try and leave it anywhere she could! A wonderful afternoon with a great group. Hope to see you next year for the rematch. Thank you very much to Ronye for putting together this fantastic day.

It was a fun and fast paced event with lots of laughter with the group from Reef Subsea. The activities were great for this group to get their teeth into and it was always going to be end to end action with the scores but in the end The Fears deserved the win. I look forward ton the rematch soon! Bob
