The Ultimate Team Challenge with Trek 2 Climb - Attempt to climb the highest peaks in Scotland, England and Wales in 'one go' Britain's highest 3 mountains, Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon completed in that order all in under 3 days, if you enjoy a real challenge then join us on the 3 Peaks Challenge 2011.
Weekends from March to July giving you plenty time to plan your fitness schedule.
The 3 Day 3 Peaks Challenge is an attempt to climb the three highest peaks in the UK over 3 days, one each day, whilst taking in the magnificent scenery these peaks have to offer. These peaks are Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, we complete them in that order.
We travel to Fort William on the Thursday, starting with Ben Nevis on the Friday morning, climb Scafell Pike Saturday and finish Snowdon on Sunday in Wales!
Even though this is a more relaxed timescale than the 3 Peaks Challenge, this is a tiring event and people participating should have the necessary fitness. We aim to complete each of the mountains within 6-8 hours; however this will depend upon the speed of the group.
The course is guided by experienced mountain leaders and there is a transport vehicle with separate driver with you throughout the challenge.
Days guiding by qualified mountain leaders.
Pick ups and drop offs along the route to provide you with several different options - just choose the most convenient for you.
Set open dates or bespoke courses for individuals to larger groups - just ask if the date you want is not listed.
Many years experience in providing this challenge.
You need to have a good level of fitness
We run this trip between May and October, however if you want to experience this during winter - just ask!
Think you are up to the challenge.... Join us and find out!
We normally run this trip over a long weekend, Thursday to Sunday, however if you would like to do this at any other time then please contact us.
A typical itinerary may look like this:
Please note: This itinerary is a guide only. It can be subject to change dependent upon viability, course members' fitness, weather conditions or for any other reason
During each Three Peaks event our transport vehicle does a round trip from major locations across Scotland, Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen. This means we offer selected pick up points. We also arrange collection from all Major airports and train stations across Scotland.
If you are based in the South of the UK we recommend you fly to Glasgow International Airport or Edinburgh Airport This saves you a lot of time in the vehicle.
Alternative pick up and drop off points can be discussed upon request.
Pick up times are the day before the event and drop off is during the afternoon of the event finish. We aim to finish in Snowdon by mid afternoon on the last day of each event, and therefore your drop off will be late on the Sunday evening. However, there are no guarantees as it depends on the speed of your group.
If you are making your own way to Fort William for the start of your challenge you should arrive the Thursday afternoon/evening in time for the evening briefing and to be ready for the start of the challenge the next day.
We have availability throughout the year for bespoke trips. Please contact us for more details.
If the date you want is fully booked or not listed please contact us, we may still be able to help!
