Casket Rescue
A 'live bomb' has been found in the grounds! Teams must quickly plan, design and assemble a device which will allow the recovery and removal of the bomb to a safe and secure zone within the compund. With limited materials and limited time, this task requires an in-depth thought process, extensive teamwork and communication, and a good eye for a technical solution . All team members must make important decisions quickly in order to gain those ever important added bonus points for completion of the task.
Objective
Decant the toxic liquid inside the bomb into the quarantined area and return the casket to its original position
The Challenges
The team will be confronted with many challenges during this exercise mainly from the dynamics of their group. However, we have included a few extra:
- A no entry area
- Touching of the Casket is forbidden
- Limited resources available
- Time penalties
- Particular attention to slips, trips and fall hazards
- Not a single drop of liquid may be spilt
- The task can not be completed alone
