Crane Construction

This indoor challenge puts your wits to the test, as with limited resources, time and an overflow of ideas, your team must build a freestanding crane using only the materials supplied. The crane must be strong enough to pick up a range of objects of varying weights

The Objective

To build a freestanding crane from only the materials provided that is strong enough to lift various objects

The Challenges

The team will be confronted with many challenges during this exercise, primarily due to the dynamics of their team. However, we have included a few extra:

• Limited resources
• Crane must be free standing
• Time restrictions
• Must lift heavy objects
• Can only build one crane
