Corporate Fun Day with Aker Solutions

This years Aker Solutions Corporate Fun Day was to be an extra special one, and was hosted at the fantastic Pittodrie House Hotel on a (mostly) glorious summer afternoon.
The sun shone brightly as the excited guests began to arrive, looking out across a sea of Corporate Fun Day activities stretching right across the grounds and into the distance. There was so much fun to be had for all the family, the day that lay ahead was going to be a fabulous one. The inflatable zone on the top lawn provided hours of Corporate Fun Day entertainment for the younger ones, with Bouncy Castles, a Slide, Ball Pool, Tea Cup Rides and Face Painting giving joy and fun to all right throughout the afternoon.
The Inflatable Corporate Fun Day activities continued across the grounds, with teams gathering on the Human Table Football all afternoon. Parents battled children on the Gladiator Duel or shot for glory on the Target Paintball, as others clung in to the Bucking Bronco or stretched to victory on the Bungee Run. There was further Corporate Fun Day entertainment in the shape of the ever popular Axe Throwing, Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting and Archery, a magnificent Falconry Display and Land-Rover Driven Tours of the surrounding area.
As the fantastic Corporate Fun Day entertainment continued through the afternoon, the big competitions were to be held on the Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting and Archery. The Laser Clays was a tight one, and despite the late entrance of a certain couple (who shall remain nameless because they both missed!), nobody could stop the main man that was Isaac...what a legend! The Archery competition could have gone on for weeks by the time we got to the balloon round, but plenty of spectators stayed around to cheer on the eventual champion of champions, our brand new Robin Hood.
As the Corporate Fun Day came to a close and guests packed up for heading home (and ran to their cars because of the downpour!), it was clear from the smiles on faces that the Aker Solutions Corporate Fun Day 2010 had been enjoyed by all in attendance. A big thank-you goes out to Nichola, whose hard work, dedication and enthuiasm ensured that the entire day was a massive success. It was an absolute pleasure to meet and work with so many people from Aker Solutions, we hope you all left with fantatstic memories of your day at Pittodrie House Hotel, and we look forward to seeing you all again in the near future.
