Team Development with Tesco Bank

Team Development GlasgowTesco Bank arrived at the wonderful Westerwood Hotel bright and early and dispite a couple of members getting lost in the roadworks the team started off on time.  Working together and understanding the key company values was the the theme for the Team Training day and I must say they were certainly up for it.

After a little Team Development entertaining session of getting to know each other better it was obvious we wouldn't be able to print or share the stories with anyone who wasn't in the room, but what I would share is that a shoe, a coat hood, a bus and a pair of pants were all involved in the stories....

After the first two Team Building activities it was the Darrens Angel's who lead the way with the Cautious Team Development GlasgowCats who were playing the long steady game in second place.   Before lunch the teams had the EGG DROP Team Building challenge to take part in and with their strategy choosen they set to work on the model that they hoped would get them success.  The final result in this Team Building game was Darren's Angels won by a narrow margin however both eggs got the scramble treatment!

Lunch in the excellent Bar and Grill followed and with a re focus on safety and playing the Team Building games full out the teams were ready to do battle again as the tasks became even more challenging.

Team Development GlasgowFirst in the afternoon was the Team Building Game Interlocker, a game both teams had to initially play together and then compete for the top prize.  After a shaky start the teams did extremely well to get to a point where they had only one piece left and nowhere to put it, the debate started with "Is there a piece missing " and ended with "Hold on I can see the mistake" and after 22 minutes they completed the first phase of this strategy Team Building game.

Team Development GlasgowIt was creative time next and both teams produce wonderful role play adverts and we were especially pleased to see Jordana cope under extreme pressure from Gails call and with Police man Brian loving his job too much it made for great laughs.  Although we were disappointed to see Darren put in handcuffs at the end!!

The final Team Building task was Bridge Build and with double points at stake all the Cautious Cats had to do to win was make a successful crossing, the count down began and off the jeep went ......... it touched the otherside then fly to the ground to huge moans from both teams which showed great team spirit.  It was with that 2 inchs that Darren's Angels became the winners and lifted the trophy aloft.

Team Development GlasgowThe team went away with personal committments and a fresh vision for the coming weeks and above all had a fabulous time with us and us with them.  A big thank you goes to Gail for organising the Team Development event and working with us on the delivery of the values and vision for the event.  We wish you great success with the launch and look forward to working with the team again very soon.

Wonderfully motivated team, who have only success to come in their future. Well done to you all and it goes to show that whatever you put into something you get it all back. Thank you to Gail for her all her input and allowing us the freedom to challenge the group.

Good luck with the live date

    Gerry
