We hope this blog will bring back some great memories of your fantastic Evening and Themed Event. Check out all the photos from the evening, and don't forget to leave us a comment at the bottom of the page with some of your highlights and favourite moments!
Remember remember the 5th of November!!! It was a clear moonlit sky, with a frosty bite in the air offering the perfect setting for this year's Halloween Haunting Fireworks Event with Technip at the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel. Excitement was in the air as the 400+ guests began to arrive at 6.30pm, they were in for a night of fun Evening and Themed entertainment.
The Halloween theming took a step to the next level this year with a super scary haunted house which included hanging witches, ghost scene setters, Mummies, Giant Spiders, Rats and spooky lighting. The scariest without a doubt was our live sleeping statues, that not only looked terrifying but if you happened to be around when they awoke from their slumber you were in for a frightening surprise that sent some of the guests running away in fear! To their relief the theming in the main suite was a little less frightening.
Before the Fireworks kicked off the children had the chance to enhance their costumes by getting their faces painted, working off their excess energy by bouncing around on the Bouncy Castle and challenging their friends to a game of Giant Jenga or Noughts and Crosses. But as the Braveheart theme tune commenced the 400 strong crowd gathered on the front lawn to watch in awe as the Fireworks began. The Fireworks combined with the music was a fantastic spectacle that lasted 20minutes.
Following the Fireworks the guests were treated to a tasty buffet before the Party Games blasted into action. The brand new Halloween Game Pop the Pumpkin went down a treat, along with the traditional Musical Statues and the infamous Cha Cha slide, which was taken on by a record breaking 50 kids. The games were completed with the much anticipated Fancy Dress parade - year on year this parade gets better and better with ever more children taking part. It was a difficult task for the hosts to select the winners as the costumes this year were more imaginative and scary than ever be, howeve, were many winners on the night, including Alexia the Spooky Ghost and Pirate of the Carribean Ben.
The end of the evening neared but not before the raffle was drawn, and with fantastic prizes up for grabs such as a Netbook, Ipod Touch and TV and DVD Combo, the atmosphere in the room was tense. As each number was called the excitement intensified until the last number was drawn. Congratulations to all the winners on the night.
With the raffle over the evening came to a close. We would like to give a special mention and thank you to Lynda for her dedication, commitment and hard work in ensuring that her fellow colleagues and their families had a fun filled and entertaining evening that will leave them with some fantastic memories. It is always a pleasure to work with you.
We would have to say that this years Halloween Themed Fireworks Event has been the best yet and cant wait to make your Corporate Fun Days events bigger and better again in 2011.
Once again it was a ghastly, ghostly, spooky, night of fun, food, fireworks and entertainment at the beautiful Ardoe House Hotel - and once again the Technip children did an awesome job of dressing up, dancing and making lots of noise and making it a Haunted Halloween Party to really remember...and the parents made even more noise when they enterered the Tent of Doom on the way in - such shrieks !.
Spectacular Fireworks set to pumpin' tunes completed a great night for all and we are already picking out the costumes for an even bigger Technip Fright Night in 2011.
Another great effort from Lynda leading up to and on the night itself - well done - its always a joy to work with a professional, and hope the feet are better now after bustin' out your moves on the Ardoe dance floor at the Scariest Dance Competition in town.
See you all again soon.
