We hope this blog will bring back some great memories of your fantastic Evening Entertainment Event. Check out all the photos from the event, and don't forget to leave us a comment at the bottom of the page with some of your highlights and favourite moments!
Despite the cold weather, the Team Challenge Company team were hyped up and raring to deliver a high-energy, fun filled Corporate Interactive Race Night with KPMG at the beautiful Perthshire venue, Perth Race Course. Following a fabulously inspirational presentation from acclaimed motivational speaker Watt Nicoll, Corporate Interactive Race Night Quiz kicked off.
With over 120 guests the atmosphere was electric, and though it may have been a slow start, once the crowd got into the interactive action there was no stopping them. The Interactive Quiz 'Peel Off' round proved to be tough for the men, with a few almost peeling their fingers instead of the carrots...if it wasn't for the pretty pink aprons (which the men seemed to like far too much) we may have had our first boycott on our hands! With 12 teams competing, it was very disappointing to only award 3 teams with points in the Horse Build Team Building Challenge, with the Pink team coming out on top...shame on the rest of the teams for cheating! The Light Green team deserve a special mention for achieving an excellent score in the Team Building Challenge Drop Zone, with a hugely impressive 6 drops...unfortunately, we are unable to provide such high praise for the for the Dark Green Team!
The teams were a little reserved in the first few Race Night races when it came to placing their bets, but after a big windfall by one of the teams the bookie had to employ a new recruit in order to cope with the demand. The final event on the Race Night agenda was the ladies race, always a source of fun and laughter and it was sure not to disappoint. The ladies picked their thoroughbreds and off they went galloping their way to victory...I think all those involved in these antics deserved to be the winner!
The highlight of the Evening Entertainment event has to be the Interactive Quiz Round, Dress the Jockey - never have we witnessed such an outrageous spectacle. Many teams pulled out all the stops in their attempt to win, however, the 'Love Machine' was rewarded with a standing ovation from the crowd after producing what can only be described as pure genius, a hilarious costume that had the entire crowd in hysterics.
The Evening Entertainment almost ended in disarray due to the antics of the now named KPMG Thief! Names are being kept under wraps for legal reasons, but both the trophy and a large sum of fun money were stolen in a bid to ensure victory. But their plan was foiled and the trophy returned so that the rightful winners could be crowned champions. It was a close competition throughout the Interactive Race Night Quiz, with the Orange and Yellow teams coming in 2nd and 3rd, but it was the Dark Green team that pipped them to the post, becoming the KPMG Trophy Winners.
We would like to thank Lisa from Perth Race Course and a special thanks to Rachel and Nigel from KPMG for a great event, it is always a pleasure working with you and we look forward to your Team Building events in 2011.
Great night at the swish Perth Race Course and what a party it was - it was a seriously competitive night from the off and as the games got tougher the tough got....caught cheating !
Congrats to the dark green team - quality effort throughout the evening and with some crazy carrot peeling and all the luck on the track with the horses you deserved the Team Challenge Winners Trophy for 2010.
A big shout out to Lisa from Perth Race Course for all her help on the evening and we look forward to working with you all again soon...even with the Love Machine !

Wow, what a crazy afternoon of fun-filled excitment and entertainment this was...! The entire group from KPMG were such a laugh to work with, with hilarious moments and fabulous banter going on right from the beginning of the event.
A big thanks to Rachel and Nigel at KPMG for all their hard work and enthusiasm in organising this hugely successful Interactive Race Night, and of course to Lisa at Perth Race Course for all her effort throughout the orgainsation process! An absolute pleasure to work with all at KPMG, and I can't wait for a future re-match...it could get messy!
