Indoor Entertainment with Emerson Network Power

A hugely enthusiastic and skilled (except at darts!) group from Emerson Netwrok Power enjoyed an energizing and motivating Team Building Indoor Entertainment experience with Team Challenge Company amidst a beautiful snowy scenery at the magnificent Macdonald Crutherland House in Glasgow.

Indoor Entertainment Glasgow November 2010The fun-filled Indoor Entertainment event kicked-off a 2 day conference for the 8 strong group at Crutherland House, and Team Challenge Company was there in force to ensure that proceedings got underway in style! The format of the day was an exciting one, in which two teams would compete head-to-head across a number of hilarious and challenging Indoor Entertainment and Team Building activities, all of which had been set up in the fabulously warm and cosy Kittoch Suite. The teams would bid to score as many points as possible and  walk away with the much-coveted Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy. Which Team would come out on top, the giggling Charlie's (John's) Angels, or the mighty Team Jedward...?

Indoor Entertainment Glasgow November 2010There were a number of truly fantastic and hilarious highlights from the Indoor Entertainment session, many of which are too embarrassing and too cheeky (Susan,  you rascal you...!) to be included within this blog. We have, therefore, chosen just some of our most memorable moments to be mentioned in this post, however, we would be delighted if you were to include some of your top highlights from the Indoor Entertainment event in the comment section at the bottom of this page. There seems no better place to start than with Big Richard and Team Jedward's sensational Balloon Tower! Perhaps less can be said for the attempt made by Charlie's Angels, which resembled a pile of rubble rather than any sort of tower!

Indoor Entertainment Glasgow November 2010The Indoor Entertainment continued with Karen and her incredibly impressive, and at times dangerous, Dart throwing abilities...I'm just glad we didn't set up any closer to the windows or there may have been trouble! Delores, on the other hand, was quite sensational with a dart in her hand, but nobody could top the might of Bill, who was so good that he wanted to stand further away from the board to make it a little more challenging! A shout out has to to Alastair, who was an absolute genius over at Puzzle Corner, and Susan - who seemed to enjoy the handcuffs puzzle a little more than most! Bill once again showed incredible dexterity on the Giant Buzz Me, completing the course without ever breaking sweat...what a legend!

Indoor Entertainment Glasgow November 2010The fun-filled and frantic Indoor Entertainment highlights don't end there...! The Big Screen Games proved to be a massive hit, and is where Gerry (otherwise affectionately known as the back-end of Jedward!) really came into his own, sprinting like a mad-man possessed! It was at the Big Screen Games where John finally clambered in out of the snow and joined his Angels...I can only imgaine what must have been going through his head as he entered the room to find his colleagues flailing their arms around to screams and cheers from the crowd! The Indoor Entertainment Team Building session was to end on a high, with both teams constructing incredible Bridges that would see both have success...though Susan's driving technique almost cost Charlie's Angels dearly!

Indoor Entertainment Glasgow November 2010With the scores in and the results checked and verified, there was only one thing to do...unfortunately, Charlie's Angels couldn't quite seem to find the luck required to take victory, and stepped up to collect their Wooden Spoon with a grand total of 5000 points. And so, with a sensational 6500 points and an incredibly consistent performance thoughout the entire Indoor Entertainment session, the mighty Team Jedward leaped up to collect first prize and lift the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy high above their heads!

Indoor Entertainment Glasgow November 2010The Indoor Entertainment Team Building afternoon with Emerson Netowrk Power had been a great success, and a big shout-out goes to Susan and Karen for all their hard work and effort in organising such a truly fantastic event. The entire group from Emerson Network Power was a complete pleasure to work with, and we at Team Challenge Company look forward to seeing you all again at another Team Building event in the near future...bring on the re-match!

A big shout out to Charlie's Angels and Team Jedward for making this Indoor Team Building session such a competitive and fun-filled one! There was a sense of eager anticipation in the air as the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy was first shown off at the beginning of the day, and the competitive spirit grew from strength to strength.

A great day of hilarity and fun at the magnificent Crutherland House, I am just so glad we had the excellent Kittoch Suite and our disposal and weren't forced outside for some SnowMan Building challenges. It was an absloute pleasure to work with Susan, Karen and all at Emerson Network Power, I hope you all had a fabulous time with us and I thoroughly look forward to seeing you all again soon...though I think that next time we may have to consider doing a little more practice on the darts!

    Jonathan
