Evening Entertainment - Fun Casino Night with Lloyds Register

With the snow causing chaos across the country it was a relief for the Team Challenge Company team to make it in perfect time for the Lloyds Register Evening Entertainment Event. It was Fun Casino Night entertainment on the agenda for their annual Christmas Party, held in the newly refurbished Pitfoddles suite at the Norwood Hall Hotel.
Despite the snow it was a great turnout with over 180 guests attending the Evening Entertainment event. Following their delicious meal, guests were wowed by the fantastic light show that filled the entire room with a final light display of their 250 years of service. This was the perfect way to get the guests in the mood for the Fun Casino Night entertainment that lay ahead.
With Roulette, Blackjack and Texas Hold'em Poker tables to choose from, the guests were certainly spoiled for choice. Every table was packed, and though the bets were small to start with, as the competitive streak in many arose the bets started to increase, and before we knew in the Fun Casino Night was in full swing.
One of the most memorable gamblers of the night was Tom, who came up with an excellent strategy that was sure to result in an outright win, but as the final seconds were ticking down he decided to gamble everything on the number 13!!! It may be lucky for some but on this occasion the number 13 lived up to its name, leaving Tom £1000 (in fun money, thankfully!) down. The devastation was clear to see, he walked away holding his head in his hands. However, his despair was short lived once he realised the prize was not an all inclusive holiday to Hawaii!!
All in all a great Fun Casino night was enjoyed by all in attendance. Tom walked away with the wooden spoon as expected, but the Team Challenge Company Fun Casino Night Trophy was awarded to Donald, who came out on top with £248 of Fun Money .
We would like to give out a special thanks to Jenny for organising the Evening Entertainment Fun Casino Night for her guests, it was an exciting end to the annual Christmas Party , the atmosphere was 'Buzzing', as quoted by Jenny. We look forward to working with you in 2011 for your next Team Building event.

It was a fantastic night of fun for us all at Norwood and as always a pleasure to work with Jenny and Lloyds register on their 250 anniversary event.
I have lots of fond memories of the night but Tom Clarke recieving his wooden spoon with a big cheesy grin was the highlight for me and just remember Tom the crowd wasn't shouting your name, it was LOSER!! haha
