We hope this blog will bring back some great memories of your fantastic Christmas Corporate Fun Day. Check out all the photos from the evening, and don't forget to leave us a comment at the bottom of the page with some of your highlights and favourite moments!
It was a very cold winters morning but luckily for the Team Challenge Company team and our clients Marathon Oil, families still arrived in their droves at the Mercure Ardoe House Hotel for the annual Christmas Corporate Fun Day. With over 140 children and 200 adults it was a sure sign Santa was heading to town.
The children were brimming with excitement at the prospect of seeing Santa. As they entered the room they ran straight to our fabulously themed Santa's Grotto where they found Mrs Clause and two elves preparing the presents for Santa's arrival. The children were not disappointed, the bell rang out signalling he had arrived, all the children had their time with Santa before receiving their Christmas gifts.
As the children waited their turn to see Santa there was lots of activities for the whole family to enjoy. From the Ball Pool to Bucking Rudolph and from 4 x 4 Remote Control Driving to Giant Games the fun to be had was endless. Despite fierce competition on the Big Screen Wii games and the Indoor Lasersport between mums and dads and brothers and sisters alike, the air was filled with festive spirit.
Following the party games and huge Cha Cha slide, in which we saw Mrs Clause (Ruth)busting her moves, it was time for the annual Christmas Corporate Fun Day dancing competition, this has to be the highlight of the event, with the exception of Santa Clause himself. The dance floor was filled with excited kids all looking for the prestigious prize of becoming the Marathon Oil Children's Christmas Party, King or Queen of the Dance Floor. We were certainly not left disappointed, we had some funky moves that would not have been out of place on 'Britain's Got Talent', but leading the contest was Charlie and Owen, aka Michael Jackson and Michael Flatly, we had no alternative but to crown them both Kings of the Dance Floor.
Following the dancing contest Santa made his way back to his workshop and the adults and children departed soon after. It has to be said that this years Christmas Corporate Fun Day was the best yet, with lots of fun and games going on, this fun filled event is sure to be a memorable one. We would like to thank Ruth and Emma for organising another fantastic Christmas Corporate Fun Day, it is always a pleasure to work with you both. We are already looking forward to your Team Building and Corporate Fun Day events in 2011.
Another great event at Ardoe House Hotel - and this time even Mrs Claus busted some moves on the dance floor !
The children were so well behaved and easy to entertain as the party games got the competitions off to a hilarious start and the parents quickly got into the festive spirits as the party went into full swing.
Thanks again to Rurth amd Emma for all their hard work leading up to the event and on the day itself and to... of course... Santa who made it another Magical Marathon Christmas Party.
Best wishes to all for a healthy happy festive break.
