We hope this blog will bring back some great memories of your fantastic Corporate Entertainment event. Check out all the photos from the day, and don't forget to leave us a comment at the bottom of the page with some of your highlights and favourite moments!
It was a fine crisp morning at the lavish Guthrie Castle for the Axis Well Technology management away day. The teams were set with the Helmet Heads taking on the spirited Team Corona; I think this team name reflects the night before haha.
The Corporate Entertainment activities were Archery and Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting . It started with a flurry of points by team Corona with Jacqui scoring well with consistent scoring in the first round. Then the impressive Sports Billy Gary showed his team the way landing a few arrows straight in the Gold . The team Corona stepped up a gear in the next 2 rounds taking them to the top of the leader board in the first activity. Keep the heads up Helmets your time will hopefully come.
The Helmet Heads must have had a team talk as they came out the blocks with a mighty push to hopefully take away the Team Challenge Company Trophy. The scores were close in first 2 quick fire rounds with Gary again showing a lot of potential. Then we headed for home with the last 2 Corporate Entertainment rounds, the first being double points and the Helmets really thrashing the score of Team Corona, (I think the shout from boss man Jim saying remember your bonuses Corona, put them off as their score was really low by any one's standards).
The teams scores were tallied up and you could see the tension in the teams faces even the ghost of Guthrie Castle (Jacqui) was hoping they would be lifting the trophy. With the score of 457 shouted out by our very own scoremaster Team Corona were thinking this is an easy win but as the score of 492 was blasted out their heads were down and The Helmets grabbed victory from the paws of Team Corona.
All and all a great day and a big thank you must go out to Jacqui for organising an immense event. We look forward to delivering your next Team Building and Entertainment event.
Great setting, Great company. What else could you ask for a great event at Guthrie Castle.
I thought i had seen a ghost but gladly it was only Jacqui as we arrived, i think it was something to do with the weather nudge nudge haha. The team were great to work with and always a superb event with Axis.
Gary i think you should get yourself ready for the Olympics in 2012 as you were really good at all the activities but Jacqui told me you picked them to suit your team..... Happy Days!
Looking forward to the re-match!!
