Fun Casino Night and Disco with Aker Solutions
It was with much excitement that everyone from Aker Solutions arrived to the New Green Trees, dressed to the nines looking forward to the Evening of Fun Casino Entertainment. All of the guests were treated to the full Team Challenge Company Experience as the Roulette and Blackjack tables were out, the DJ was blasting out the tunes and the party was in full swing. Some gamblers were far more successful than others and wisely left the Poker tables to the 'serious' gamblers among the group who had the courage to place the big money bets for big money rewards.
The drinks flowed as did the laughter, especially when our Burlesque Hostess allowed the boys the priveledge of paying to pop her balloons for charity! Similarly the raffle was a huge charity push with all of the amazing prizes, including alcohol, Ipods and even a Wii, being well recieved, particularly by three times winner Breece. The sponsored charity to benifit from the night of Evening Entertainment was local cancer charity CLAN and these fundraisers managed to raise a staggering £800!
Following the raffle the prize giving commenced with Mags and Ali stepping up to take the crowns of Best Dressed Female and Male with their show stopping outfits; that waistcoat combo was above and beyond-Good Effort! The Biggest Loser of the night was, by a very very long way, Jonathon Hogg who was delighted with his wooden spoon. The coveted Team Challenge Trophy was taken home most deservingly by Alan Gordon whose total pofit of a massive £1090 blew all of his competitors out of the water including Helen and Kelly our two runners up.
At the Disco that followed there was a lot of dancing, ABBA requests and even some shuffling going on as everyone rounded off the Evening with a bang. Well done must go to Lucy for all of her hard work in putting together such a fab night of Fun Casino Evening Entertainment for her group. The pleasure was all ours so until the next time!

Wow! What a night. I'm still laughing at some of the dire gambling that went on all night, definitely a lot more practise on the cards for some. I'm sure there are still some sore feet from all of the Disco Dancing at the end of the night and sore ribs form all the laughter. Thoroughly enjoyed working with you all as always and look forward to seeing you again. Until then - SJ

Hi Guys, What a fab night!! This was my first night out with Aker and my first experience of Team Challenge and I just wanted to say what an amazing night my friends and I had in your company! The night was full of banter and laughter and the lads on the tables were brilliant, teaching 'us dafties' how to play. They certainly done an amazing job on my husband. The man has never even bought a lottery ticket, yet somehow manage to scoop the main prize of the night and win the trophy for best gambler and most money won!! How did that happen??!! Not something he will let me forget in a hurry that's for sure!!
A special Mention to the Burlesque Hostess and the Host who kept the giggles and the night flowing effortlessly! Can't wait to see you all again on the next Big Night Out.

Another great night with Aker and didn't you dress to impress ! especially Ali and Mags.- setting a whole new standard once again in the fashion world. Well done to Alan for such a convincing win on the tables - buy that man a lottery ticket !
A big shout out to Lucy for all her stirling work leading up to the evening and on the night itself- just how much did you enjoy being our glamourous assistant during the raffle !
Going to lie down now after popping THOSE balloons - I love my job !

Hahah, was funny enough reading Steve said ' Ali and Mags setting a whole new standard one again in the fashion world'... I am still laughing.
What a brilliant night, brilliant host and people I met, enjoyed every second of it.
