After a terrential downpour in the morning the sun finally broke through the clouds to shine on all the teams from iicorr who were looking forward to an afternoon of Team Building entertainment. The group was split up into six teams, quickly branded their opponents 'THE ENEMY' and dived straight into the first of their Corporate Entertainment Activities.
Over at Target Golf it was clear that there were some closet Tiger Woods enthusiasts amongst the group, particularly teams four and two who both managed to land the elusive bonus basket, unfortunately only in the practise round but still. On the other hand some seemed to play better with a left handed club, Alex should be mentioned here!!! Greg nearly smashed a few windows with his over ambitious golf skills.
In the Archery section of the Corporate Entertainment zones there was a lot of excitement at the prospect of discovering a Robin Hood among the teams, however it was more the Maid Marrions who triumphed to show the boys how it should be done. Although Gordon did shine through on this activity and two teams managed to hit the gold centre target to cries of 'Bullseye' from the excited crowd.
Air Rifles proved to be popular and was the chance for team one to step up and show us all how it is done by scoring a record number of targets putting them leagues ahead of everyone else. TK and the guys were in their element here and it was only Team three who managed to take down the central target.
At the Mini Highland Games station all teams were eager to prove their tossing skill swere up to standard. Some of the ladies were brave enough to take on the large caber and cracked out some enviable wrist action from team six. Welly Fling proved to be the closest of all the games with little separating the teams in terms of points. When it came to finesse however there was a clear distinction.
Over at Tug o War it was all to play for with teams going head to head for their position on the leaxderboard. The gloves were on and the muscles flexed as teams pulled with all their might and it was Team one who pulled their way to victory taking home the Golden Team Challenge Company Winner's Trophy. It was team six who came last and took home the Wooden Spoon. They were far from disappointed though saying 'At least we get something to take home!'
All in all a fantastic afternoon was had by all so big thanks to Ann and her team for their hard work in organising the event. Hope you had a great day and have many more like it to come.
Well after all of that worrying Ann the sun stayed shining! And what a lovely afternoon we all had. It ws a pleasure to work with you all delivering your Team Building entertainment in such a fun way. There was a lot of laughter and lots of competition between the teams that made the day one to remember. I look forward to seeing you all again in the future!
