Arrival at the lovely Thainstone House Hotel saw the wine was flow to steady the nerves of the the competitors from Wood group as they geared up for their evening of Games Mania Fun. After division into teams we were straight into the various fun activites on offer and we quickly saw those who had their eye on the prize from the off  as Julie's Angels started to do a team warm up.

On Giant Buzz Me, teams all needed a steady hand and it was Craig Brown to step up first and he coped remarkably well under pressure and managed to get the first point for his team and was the only one not to lose a life at this game. Steve was so poor at this station that we can still hear the echoes of everyone questioning how an electrician could be so bad at this game. At the Table Tennis Arendal where the forks at? ruled the roost and cracked some excellent back hand shots out of nowhere to show everyone else how it's done. The teams thought they were F1 drivers at the Remote Control Cars but the Confused team didn't know their left from their right but somehow managed to turn it all around and get the most laps of the night.

After a quick score check with the 3 rotations Arendal where the forks at? were in the lead with 3000 points and £150 and in last, no surprises there was Tumble Weeds with 1500 points and £75. For the latter half of the event  we moved onto the Big Screen Games and in the history of Team Challenge Company there has rarely been a team that struggled as much as Snow White and 6 Dwarves who won only two points against  At The Bar.All the teams where looking foward to the Air Hockey but the team that stood out was At The Bar as it was a close game between Arendal Where The Forks At? with a score of 11 - 9. Big Tom Spinner was the god of Foosball with his excellent wrist action showing us how Beckham would have done it.

The Casino was where the teams had to make as much as they could to add on to their scores and there was definitely some cheating going on as Chris was seen walk around to the chip area and grab a hand full of chips! The Karmic justice was that they then lost all of their stolen goods on blackjack!

When it came to the prizegiving we handed out the Wooden Spoon to Tumble Weeds where the teams had to be cajoled into getting up for their team photograph while Julie's Angels ran up to the stage gloating as they collected the Golden Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy. Then Neil from Confused took the stage and grabbed the mike from Bob to say some words about his own brilliance only to be laughed at by the rest of the teams for coming second last!

All in all a fantastic Games Mania evening was had by everyone and a huge thank you must go out to Craig for all of his hard work in putting together such a fun evening for everyone to enjoy. We are already awaiting the results of the rematch.
