Joint Client Night with Macdonald Pittodrie House Hotel

Joint Client Night Aberdeen May 2011 9It was the turn of the stunning Macdonald Pittodrie House Hotel to play host to an exciting night of Team Building based entertainment for a group of Team Challenge Company guests on Wednesday 25th May. On arrival at the lovely venue, teams were treated to a presentation about Team Challenge Company and all of our lastest developments and services. We then collected Team Names and headed out to the exquisite grounds for a taster session of Archery and Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting.

Joint Client Night Aberdeen May 2011 12There was chaos at Archery with split arrows, a bounce out from Diane, and Josephine even managed to scrape into the tip top point of the target stand. From Julia's 'How do I let it go?!' to Emma-Leigh's 'Lover not an Archer',  there looked to be trouble ahead until the Maid Marians of the group, Kath and Julie, stepped up to strike gold in the bullseye target zone.

Joint Client Night Aberdeen May 2011 19Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting was the first competition of the night with Ali, Duncan and Simon doing their teams proud and bringing home the points. John was the talk of the group right from the off with his professional gun handling and hunting jacket; all that was missing were the targets! After Stuart forgetting to reload (there's always one), it was down to Andrew to seal the deal for Ali's Allsorts and take down the final clay and steal the victory from the clutches of the Allstars. It was thanks to Sarah, Jennifer, Colleen and Shonagh for the moral support of all teams. The Scheme simply reasoned that they were more used to knives than guns and were happy to be taken over to the Showcase of Towers of Hanoii, one of the best and most difficult Team Building challenges on show.

Joint Client Night Aberdeen May 2011 26Heading back inside Balloon Tower was the next treat for the guests. Ali's Allsorts were too busy laughing to build much, Hypothermia were focusing on the addition of pretty design features and the Allstars were suffering from the droop screaming 'Don't open the door, the draft will finish us!'. So it was down to the dark horses that were the Scheme to take the top prize with their 68cm tall and extremely photogenic tower.A delicious two course buffet was then enjoyed by all courtesy of Macdonald Pittodrie House Hotel, allowing everyone a chance to sample their sumptuous menu and also listen to Alastair from Jog Scotland tell us all about JogScotland running programmes, both locally and throughout Scotland. He was very encouraging and there are surely going to be some takers following his inspirational talk. Team Building Boomwhackers came next and was a chance for our musicians to shine. Following renditions of Twinkle Twinkle Little Star and Do a Dear, it was Andrew's skills as a conductor and Ali's seductive strip tease that stole the show and maximum points.

Joint Client Night Aberdeen May 2011 45In the Bridge Build Team Building Challenge, the final showcase of the evening, it was only the Scheme and the Allstars who managed to triumph with a winning structure, pushing them up to the top of the leaderboard. This sent Hypothermia plummetting to last place taking home the Wooden Spoon while Ali's Allsorts came third and the Scheme coming a close second. This left the aptly named Allstars to take first place and the Team Challenge Company Winner's Trophy.

Joint Client Night Aberdeen May 2011 56We hope everyone who attended enjoyed the night as much as we did, it was an aboslute pleasure to see so many friendly faces and to give you a taste of what we have to offer our corporate clients for their Team Building events this year. We at Team Challenge Company very much look foward to seeing you all again very soon.

What a fabulous night of fun-filled entertainment at the ever-magnificent Macdonald Pittodrie House Hotel. It was a real pleasure to see so many familiar faces, though I would have expected a little more skill on the Archery and Laser Clays based on the experience on show...!

A big thank you and shout out to Helen and the rest of the teams at Pittodrie House Hotel, the evening could only have been such a success with all your hard work and dedication to offering a first class service.

I sincerely hope that you all throughly enjoyed yourselves, and I look forward to seeing you all again soon.

    Jonathan
