The beautiful grounds of Pittodrie House Hotel played host to a fabulous day of fun-filled and exciting Corporate Entertainment with a highly energetic and highly competitive group from Teekay Petrojarl.
A nervous excitement filled the air as the group walked out from their sumptuous lunch in the Orangery and looked out across the host of Corporate Entertainment Challenges and Activities that lay ahead of them. Following a safety brief and explanation of the rules of the games and re-naming of Jenni to Benni the Corporate Entertainment action was soon underway. The 2 teams Foinaven and Banff prepared to battle it out across the wide range of Corporate Entertainment Challenges throughout the hotel grounds in a bid to score top points and be crowned Teekay Petrojarl Corporate Entertainment Champions! With the fabulous Team Challenge Company Trophy up for grabs, this was sure to be a day not to be forgotten.
As the teams enjoyed some highly competitive Corporate Entertainment outdoors in the shape of our All New Inflatable Chip Shot Golf, Quad Biking, Archery, Air Rifles and Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting, much to Dave's delight who wants it all for his Christmas!
With mixed skills in the Target Zone both Chip Shot Golf and Archery everyone knew the final results were going to be very close. In the Air Rifles Ashleigh's unusual Rocket Launcher technique saw her keeping her target unblemished - shame!, Liam was the safest....let's just leave it like that. Magnhild was a bit handy with a score of 9 but it was Wendy who stepped up and stole the applause with a massive high score of 19. Banff came out on top in this round after amassing an impressive 93 points versus 63 for Foinaven.
Foinaven and Banff took on the Laser Clays Challenge last with Jim and Neil clearly experts in this field. Foinaven looked to be poor in their practice, but after a motivating team talk they pulled up their socks and got top scores across the board to take the last round. After a quick bribe to Euan (only joking !) the final scores were revealed:
Banff Wins 3800 points
Foinaven 2nd 3200 points
It was a fantastic Corporate Entertainment event full of fun and competition at Pittodrie House Hotel and a huge thanks must go to Magnhild for organising such a great day. We look forward to next years re-match.
Next year please provide some competition for the Banff Team... ;-)
Good man Dave - keep up the practice for next year - I hear Magnhild has been in the gym already and Wendy has bought a balaclava !
Hope we are invited back for the re- match- anywhere in the world !
