Another fantastic afternoon of Corporate Fun Day entertainment was enjoyed by the group from Thermo Fisher Scientific as they gathered at the wonderful Perth Racecourse for an afternoon of Inflatable Fun, Target Zone Entertainment and It's a Knockout Races.
There was much for the crowds to see and do as they visited Dozer the Clown in his workshop for a display and tutorial on some of his most popular mad skills, and of course for one of his magnificent balloon creations.
Meanwhile kids were getting their faces painted from pretty butterflies to very scary monsters and then covering it all with delicious Ice Cream.
Inflatable Fun was the name of the game as kids and adults alike tore off their shoes and got stuck in. From the Barfly and Bungee Run to Giant Slide and Ball Pool there was plenty for everyone to have a go on. In addition the Quad bike circuit was very popular, as indeed was the Archery and so following a BBQ lunch everyone headed over there in the hope of discovering a Robin Hood among us. As the first competition started expectations were high and it seems they would not be disappointed, especially as Jamie and 3 year old Amy-Leigh managed to soar through the qualifying round. However, the adults struggled a bit and the quarter finals had to be repeated as noone would have made it through. But in the end Ian managed to step up and burst his balloon claiming the top prize.
Bucking Bronco competition was another highlight of the day as the competitive spirit of some came to the fore, particularly Chris and young Kieron who just wanted to beat the adults, and he did with a staggering time of 35 seconds. Wayne proved to be the only one with riding credentials good enough to claim the trophy and with a very impressive time of 26 seconds forced his way to the top.
The Corporate Fun Day It's a Knockout Races provided a world of laughter and hilarity as the two teams got stuck into their space hoppers and caterpillar tracks. Although several players did manage to cheat rather a lot, Tanya and Craig this means you ha-ha. It was a very close run thing but in the end it was Team One who emerged the victors and took home the Team Challenge Company Winner's Trophy and rounds of applause from their adoring fans (!).
Such a fantastic Corporate Fun Day could only have happened thanks to the hard work of Chris, Dave and Ian in organising the day and leading by example and getting stuck in to each and every part of the day. There are sure to be plans for a rematch very shortly on the Sumo Suits and we look forward to seeing you for that and much, much more.
Another fanstastic afternoon was had, even though the weather struggled to push through. The enthusiasm was high as everyone got stuck into all the activities. Especially Amy-Leigh who has huge girl power potential for the future with skills that good that early! What a superb day so big shout out to Chris and the guys for all their effort in putting it together. I look forward to the next time we all meet.
