The Hangar at Perth Airport was the setting for the Corporate Fun Day Summer BBQ for the group from AVIVA as the crowds gathered in for an afternoon of Inflatable Fun excitement as well as a variety of competitions and races for the Children and Adults.
As the weather held up there was much to enjoy about the day including Kelly's reluctant glory on the Gladiator Duel and the performance of the Lady M 'n' Ms on the Tug of War. Unlike the dudes the ladies showed us how its supposed ti be done while Scott showed us EXACTLY what not to do.
There was a lot of budding clowns spending their time with Dozer the Clown and honing their mad skills. This lead to an epic attempt at breaking the world record plate spinning competition. And what a respectable attempt it was with a total of 18 plates in the air at once and some balls being juggled too! There were even a few Mums and Dads who gave Dozer a run for his money.
The first of the days competitions took place over at the Gladiator Duel and saw several fierce battles take place resulting in the crowning of Ali and Basil as the deserving winners of the prize-they have agreed to share the trophy on a monthly timeshare basis. Shortly after it was Lisa's turn to shine as she stepped up to the boss and hammered home a comfortable win at the Archery competition after popping her balloon in style. The children's and adult's races then heralded the end of the day with Laura and her never ending legs ran, hopped and sacked to victory.
Later on in the evening the group then enjoyed some more Inflatable Fun in the form of the notoriously difficult Surf Simulator which had more people falling flat than the drinks did. There was also a Disco and Karaoke in full swing all evening making sure that such a fantastic Fun Day ended with the bang it deserved.
The Corporate Fun Day afternoon provided a wealth of entertainment for all who attended as part of the Aviva Corporate Fun Day 2011 as did the Evening Entertainment and was only possible as a result of Lisa's hard work in organising it with the support of all of the M 'n' Ms so massive shout out to them. We hope you enjoyed it as much as we did and look forward to seeing you all again.
What a superb day! The weather held, the atmosphere was buzzing and the enthusiasm was high as everyone got involved. particularly for the days competitions.
Lisa, that was just too impressive a pop. As for the Tug 'o War, that was a stunning display of strength from the ladies M and M's, proof that you are way more than just pretty faces!
With a record amount of candyfloss being consumed sugar rush was high as the races saw everyone hyped up to the max. I already look forward to the next time we meet to match the levels of excitement and enthusiasm we all shared here.
