City Scavenger Hunt with Nexen

Aberdeen city Scavenger HuntThe Rox Hotel in Aberdeen was the stunning base for the Nexen Aberdeen City Scavenger Hunt. Following a morning of conferencing and a lovely lunch the group were split into teams and given their Scavenger Survival Packs and let loose in the city with their mission.

The teams were raring to take on their Team Building challenge as they set of in their search for various items as well as the elusive Team Challenge Company Fugitives known as the Hairy Beaver and Wonky Donkey. With Red Fox at the helm back at the Rox HQ teams answered questions with lightening speed and genius accuracy. Marjory's team 6 were so fast that cheating had to be suspected initially but was disproved a little later. Louise's team 5 were the only ones to get wrong the graphology question with a rather hilarious answer of llamas! The only explanation given was 'Ask Sandy!' which seemed to be enough.

Team Building ScotlandFor the City Scavenger Hunt photograph challenge teams had some phenomenal offerings and the viewing of those was certainly a highlight of the Hunt. Judging by team 1's photos Susan has another career in modelling up her sleeve and Richard's team 2 were certainly deserving of their originality points thinking outside the box for a quality 'on a train' - a wedding dress!

After inital numbering confusion team 3 henceforth known as Dianne's Diamonds were flying and were in fact the only team to decipher the clues and successfully locate the Hairy Beaver! The Wonky Donkey was located by several teams and even twice by Phillips team 4.

City Scavenger Hunt Aberdeen Aug 11When it came to the City Scavenger Hunt scores it was very close at the top but with a stupendous 6400 points it was down to Richard's team to claim the top spot and take home the Team Challenge Company Trophy much to the disappointment of Susan and Marjory's faithful teams who came joint second after a phenomenal effort with 6000 points. It was then Phillips team in 3rd place with 5800 points leaving Dianne's Diamonds in 4th place with 5600 points. That left Louise's team bringing up the rear with a still respectable 5400 points and so the recipients of the Team Challenge Company Last Place Wooden Spoon.

Team Building City Scavenger Hunt ScotlandAll in all a great afternoon was had by all as this was one City Scavenger Hunt full of energy and laughter. It takes a lot to organise such a fantastic day so a shout out must be given to Susan for all of her hard work in making it happen. We thoroughly enjoyed sharing the day with you all and hope to see you again very soon.
