It's a Knockout with Highland Lodges

It's a Knockout ScotlandJordanstone House was the venue for the Muir Group and Hydrasun Its a Knockout competiton. After breakfast and the sore heads faded away. It was time for the fun to begin.  We kicked off with a vigorous warm up. It was a defining moment from Sandy complaining "I'm Knackered" and at that point it did not look good for him but being Team Challenge we gave him a great boost to get him motivated . Once the teams were split it was the Marauders against the mighty Ippaninas.

The first round of the It's a Knockout was the ever funny Caterpillar Race.   The teams looked the were ready for war with Gill ready to take the world on.  There was no way the Marauders were getting in her way but in the end they struggled hard with finger pointing at Craig but without doubt the Marauders were clear winners thanks to their twinkle toe movements across the course.

It's a Knockout ScotlandThe lead was short lived after the Ippaninas threw down the gauntlet to take victory at It's a Knockout Gold Rush with a sensational performance from Gary in the sack. By now the teams were warmed up and ready to take on the Gladiator Duel.  The rules were clearly explained but Ross being Ross he decided his rules were better and ignore these and hit his opponents directly in the face (you bad man). In the end Craig stepped up and took victory for the Ippaninas .

After the violence of Gladiator Duel it was back to a It's a Knockout team event,  Space Hopper Dash.  Here at Team Challenge Company we love to see teams trying their up most to get points but in the end the Marauders scored an impressive 0 points tut tut. So the points went to Ippaninas with a great victory.

It's a Knockout ScotlandThen it was the Battle of Jordonstone on the It's a Knockout  Human Demolition. It was a comic affair as the teams could hardly stand on their podiums with Sandy giving us the best laugh by only staying on the podium for 3 seconds each time haha.  When it came to the final they all decided to gang up on Alan.  To tell the truth he looked he was having his first outing in high heels, falling all over the place and he was down more than Audley Harrison but I guess there could be a few p45 in the post!!!

It's a Knockout ScotlandAfter lunch it was time to do a couple of Indoor Team Building activities consisting of Balloon Tower and Boomwhackers. We thought that Bob would lead his team to victory but were they victorious eh NO, they built a massive balloon tower mess and only scraped some points for their team.  The Marauders built a fine tower to take maximum points. Then the teams had 10 minutes to come up with a performance to showcase their musical attributes in the Team Building activity Boomwhackers. After 10 mins they had to come and present to the other teams. It was a valiant effort by all but in the end our resident Judge Nikki gave Marauders the full points putting them in the lead with a few more activities to go. Bob was disgusted by the referees decision.

It's a Knockout ScotlandIt was time for It's a Knockout  Wacky & Wild water filled fun and the teams were pumped after their second warm up of the day. Clown Around was next up with foam bursting out of the washing machine and Craig getting overly excited by saying "Lets get it on". The teams knew there wasn't many game left to earn points and they all wanted to take away the coveted Team Challenge Trophy. They battled back and forth and we even had a surprise appearance from the American WWF fighters, The Undertaker aka Alan and the Ultimate Warrior aka Craig

After all the controversy it was the Ippaninas who had a fine effort with "door mat". The teams moved on the It's a Knockout Bungee Run. This is where Craig showed his worth by destroying every opponent he was up against with the exception of Mark who more than held his own. The sponges were out which means only one thing it was time for Wacky Wall. The Marauders step their game up on this activity and brought the scores close going into the finale.

The It's a Knockout Assault Course was bursting at the seams with bubbles coming out all over the place. We gave them the brief and the teams were ready. The Ippaninas knew this was their last chance and they gave their all from the start. The Marauders struggled with the activity and in the end couldn't get their Skis across the line.  The Ippaninas were off the line like a shot and got all their team members across the line to snatch victory from the nose of the Marauders.

The scores were counted and the results were in. It was a great effort from all individuals but the winning team deserved the win with a fantastic It's a Knockout score of 12,000 points.   It was the Ippaninas with Bob stepping up with his team to take the trophy and not let go "All mine, I think he said".  The Marauders lead from the start but couldn't find the killer punch in the finale.

A great It's a Knockout day was had by all and a big thanks goes out to Nikki for organising a full day of fun and frolics. We look forward to the re-match.
