Guests of the fabulous Thainstone House Hotel were treated to a wonderful night of Evening Entertainment in the shape of a fun-filled and exciting Quiz Night, which proved to be a great way to kick-off 2012.

Following a lovely Champagne drinks receptions, the excited guests of Thainstone House Hotel made there way through to the wonderfully decorated Ambassador Suite, where the night of Evening Entertainment jumped straight into action with Hit or Miss. Moira of Team MoTwo was unstoppable, she knew every Hit there was, and even did a bit of dancing when Kanye West came on!!! A great start for her team, racking up the first 1000 points of the Quiz Night. Guests were then seated for their lovely Starter, and the anticipation continued to grow for the rest of the Quiz Night that lay ahead.

There were many highlights throughout the night of Evening Entertainment, as the teams battled it our across a wide range of Quiz Night rounds, including Guess Who, Guess Where, Movie Quotes and many many more. Team Lochee got off to a flyer, as Team Tigger cried out for a Science Round...I don't think they recognised many of our famous faces! Team Panda started slowly, but not quite as slow as The Misfits, who at one stage weren't sure what was going on! It all added to the fun and excitement, as round by round the teams racked up the points.

Team Chick tried to play their Mascot on more than one occasion, and perhaps wish they had kept it back for the Music Round, seeing as they had a professional Musician in thier team!!! The laughter and hilarity continued throughout the night of Evening Entertainment, we even had an answer in Spanish at one stage...! The Movie Quotes proved tough for many teams, and the Squeakers rangloudly around the room during Dingbats, just a shame for Team Crackshot that they didn't quite get the answers right, and an even bigger shame for Team Leo, who were always just second quickest on the buzzer!

The Questions of 2011 Round was a big hit for all teams (even the Misfits!) and it made for an exciting finish to the Quiz Night as we entered the Music Round. With tensions running high, it had soon come down to the Trophy Presentation, but not before The Misfits were welcomed up to collect the Wooden Spoon for their last place finish! In the end, there could be only one winner, and scoring a wonderful 5000 points, the mighty Famous Five jumped up to lift the much-coveted Team Challenge Company Winner's Trophy! It was an absolute pleasure to work with Barry and his team Thainstone House Hotel, the enitre night of Evening Entertainment had been a big success, and those in attendance thoroughly enjoyed themselves.
