Team Challenge Company keenly greeted Kca Deutag for their annual fun filled summer BBQ Fun Day at the lovely Kippie Lodge Hotel.

The crowds soon started to gather to celebrate this BBQ Fun Day and everyone was raring to go despite the dull weather. After welcoming everyone along the kids and adults soon took to the many fun and exciting activities we had to offer.

The sumo wrestling proved to be a popular one, with mums dads and kids all battling to be the biggest and fattest sumo to end up on top of their competitor!!

It seems that the biggest highlight of the day was our extra-special guest, the sensational Dozer the Clown. All guests were welcomed into Dozer's fantastic Clown Around Arena by the main man himself to enjoy all the hilarity and antics of a Circus Clown. Dozer showed off his amazing circus skills, which included Juggling, Plate Spinning and flying the Diablo high above the crowds before bringing it back to Earth in style. It was then the turn of the guests, who joined in the Clown Around antics and attempted to master all the skills of the trade...the tricky Pedalo certainly caused many big laughs!

It was now competition time, and we kicked off with Laser Clays. It was a close call, with everyone trying their very hardest to be in the running for the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy. Well done to Kca Deutag's very own John Wayne who ended up claiming the trophy and putting on an outstanding performance in our Laser Clay competition.

It was then time for the Archery competition, with everyone keen to prove themselves to be a true Robin Hood! The tension was easy to see between everyone as they all wanted to take the trophy home. It was a neck and neck right up until the end but Arlene managed to snatch it, winning by only an inch!!

As the guests began to drift away at the end of a hugely successful BBQ Fun Day it was clear that everybody had thoroughly enjoyed the fun and hospitality, and that the day had been a massive success.
