Evening Entertainment Quiz Night - Aker Solutions
What a night it was for Solutions, the group of 70 headed down to the Holburn Bar for a Evening Entertainment Quiz and in total 10 teams took part.
To kick start the competition and to generally warm up the brain the first round was the Hit & Miss round, it was going rather well until the U2 classic caught everyone out despite the obvious clue. The quiz got under way shortly after with the Guess Who round which gradually warmed the group up and let them know what was in store for the rest of the quiz.
The following rounds included General Knowledge, Guess What & Where, Sports Round, Music Round and of course what would a quiz be without the Movie Quotes & Name The Movie round as who could forget what film 'Nobody Puts Baby In The Corner' comes from.
The Finale was the always exciting and somewhat tricky Potato Peel Off, the teams are pitted head to head all donned in protective gloves of course, to peel as many potatos as possible in the time allocated all for the Team Challenge Trophy!
The winners on the night were the Period Team, (Renamed by us to aviod upsetting any casual readers) who showed true spirit and commitment to stay ahead despite a poor sport round.
The wooden Spoon award or last place went to the Fab 4, and it looked like theirs from the begining. A special mention to the 33 and a 1/3 Team who kept us all entertained with their humour and weren't just pretty faces.
Finally it was a shame there wasn't enough Pizza to go around (Aberdeen) on the night Haha, and we look forward to hosting the comeback in 2009.
