Corporate Entertainment - Shell Exploration
Norwood Hall provided the venue for Shell Exploration's 2-day Corporate Entertainment Event with Team Challenge Company, which incorporated Team Building Activities, Evening Entertainment and a very quick fire Executive Quiz.
The afternoon of Day 1 kicked off with mentally stimulating Team Building session, as the group were divided into Teams and competed head-to-head in the ever-popular Nasa Challenge. It seemed the most challenging part was seperating the group into 8 equal Teams, as no matter how hard the Team Challenge Boys tried, they always ended up with 9...a maths lesson required for Bob, I think!
The session proved to be highly competitive, as the Teams vied for supremacy from early on. One Team in particular scored an incredible 14 points, which is an unconfirmed Team Challenge Company record - we have passed on your personal details to Nasa, and you have all been ensured of a place on the next Space Mission!
The Evening Entertainment provided yet more fun for the guests, as the fought it out on the Indoor Laser Shoot, and raced to victory on the Big Screen Games. The banter was endless, as certain 'techniques' employed during the Big Screen Games had many doubled with laughter.
An early morning start was in store for Day 2, as the Teams gathered once more to battle it out in the fast-paced action of our Executive Quiz. John - aka Red - arrived with a pounding headache following a late night in the bar...! With a lack of ladies in the audience, the boys didnt have to endure any 'chick-flick' questions, as a sneaky mention to Bridget Jones' Diary would would have definately thrown a cat amongst the pigeons.
It was the Dingbats round that proved most tricky, with one gentleman - who shall remain nameless (but he knows who he is) - still couldn't understand when we told him the answer. This, of course, lead to much hilarity, and even Jim and John were desperate to join in and tell him the answer!
All in all, a fantastic couple of days was enjoyed by all the guests of Shell Exploration, and the Corporate Entertainment Event proved to be a huge success. We all look forward to working with Jim, John and the rest of their group in the near future.
