Fun Casino Night Evening Entertainment - McGrigors LLP
The Thistle Hotel was the host of McGrigors LLP annual Christmas Party, where nearly 100 guests were treated to a glamorous Casino Night as part of some fantastic Evening Entertainment.
The excited party arrived in anticipation of the night ahead, and following dinner, the tables were opened and the Casino Night began. The band played as the guests took their fun money to the Roulette and Blackjack Tables, where they bid to turn just a few pounds into thousands. Many dreams were shattered in an instant, as the cry of "50 quid on red" often ended in disappointed for the now experienced gamblers.
There were, however, a huge amount of successful guests, and chip stacks grew higher and higher throughout the Fun Casino Night of Evening Entertainment. Mike Blaine, or BIG MIKEY (as our Croupiers liked to call him) was found walking around with a bunch of £100 chips in his pocket! This photo depicts the moment where he threw down an entire £1000 on one hand of Blackjack...needless to say he was triumphant!
As the Casino Night drew to a close, guests enjoyed a frenzied final 15 minutes og gambling, when some of the biggest bets ever seen were taken on the tables. Then, with the chips counted and the numbers verified, the most important part of the Evening Entertainment arrived...THE RESULTS!
There was a special prize awarded to a joint venture which succeeded in losing the most amount of fun money on a single hand, which went to the ever hilarious Graham and, you guessed it, BIG MIKEY! It cant have been easy saying goodbye to £2500 in an instant, even if it was only for a laugh. There could only be one winner at this Casino Night, and the crowd erupted with delight as her name was announced - topping the list of the biggest winners throughout the evening, and walking away from the McGrigors LLP Casino Night with a bottle of champagne and the coveted Team Challenge Winners Trophy, it was the Queen of the Roulette Table...Julie!!!
The Evening Entertainment continued long into the night, and it can certainly be said that all the guests had a fabulous time as they lived the life of a High-Roller throughout the Casino Night. A big 'Thank You' must go out to Victoria and the Events Team, who did a fantastic job in arranging such a fun and successful Indoor event...so successful that Victoria even managed to grab the 2nd Place Prize for her gambling efforts during the evening (a fix...? Surely not!!!)
