Charity Race Night Keavil House Hotel
The New Year started with a bang for the excited guests of Keavil House Hotel, as over 100 adults and children of all ages arrived for some fantastic Family Fun in the shape of a Charity Race Night, with all donations going towards the BW Beacon Trust.
The Evening Entertainment kicked off with the first of 6 frantic, hair-raising horse races, which saw the teams trying to earn fun money by betting on the winning jockey. Roars and screams could be heard from miles around as the ever energetic crowd cheered on their favourite horse. As the first winner was announced and the successful 'punters' arrived at the bookies to collect their winnings, nobody could wait for the next race to begin.
But the Evening Entertainment was not finished there, as a variety of bonus Quiz Rounds gave the teams an extra opportunity to win some added fun money, and work towards the all important Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy.
The highlight of the Evening Entertainment was the hilarious Ladies Race, where 8 Ladies chose their 8 Jockeys and paraded them around the room, before gearing up for the big race! A roar of laughter arose from the guests as Jockeys and Ladies urged their horses towards the finish line, making for an exciting finishing stretch!
The Race Night came to a close with a special Finale Race - The Auction! Teams would bid for their very own horse, then cheer them on as they battled it out in the last race of the Evening. It proved to be a very tense finish, and one that was met with a huge round of applause from all the guests.
The Evening Entertainment was rounded off with the Team Challenge Company Disco, as guests danced their way into the early hours of the morning. A fantastic night of Evening Entertainment was enjoyed by all who attended, the Race Night provided hours of laughter for both young and old and every guest left with fabulous memories of their Evening at Keavil House Hotel.
