Murder Mystery Highland Lodges Evening Entertainment

Two teams of budding detectives from the Muir Group enjoyed a couple of fantastic nights of Evening Entertainment Drumkilbo House in the shape of a dark and sinister Murder Mystery Event.

MUIR Group 6

The two groups of 12 assumed their Sherlock Holmes style roles in two seperate murder mystery enquries, picking apart the stories of some talented actors and investigating the sequence of events that lead to the terrible mis-doings...all in the course of enjoying a fabulous dinner at Drumkilbo House.

Wednesday's team were presented with the murder mystery story of 'An Englishman, an Irishman and a Scotsman', and Thursday's team enjoyed 'The Death of Venus', both equally startling, but mostly hilarious Murder Mysteries. The Evening Entertainment kicked off before starters were served, and the guests were quickly transported into a world of fantasy murder investigation with an opening act that nobody would forget.

MUIR Group 2

It was then up to the talented (or at least mostly talented) makeshift detectives to quiz the actors on everything they could possibly think of - from their whereabouts on the night of the murder to their frivolous antics with other leading characters. It was to be a fantastic night of fun, laughter and enjoyment as the individual sleuths battled it out to discover the truth behind the attrocious murders and bag themselves the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy in the process.

The Evening Entertainment on both nights was full of banter between the guests, with a memorable quote from one particular detective who perhaps wasn't fairing quite as well as others were...'John, come on, how much CSI do you watch...?'

MUIR Group 2

As the Evening Entertainment drew to a close and the final accusations were made, it seems some detectives were about as useful as the famous Inspector Jacques Clouseau from the Pink Panther Movie - not very then! Caroline Brown was given the honour of last place on Wednesday evening for her attrocious guess, but was made look like a genius on Thursday night when Craig Paterson got the answer so wrong you would have sworn he was watching a different play all together!

Luckily for the guests from the Muir Group, there were a few Columbo's amongst the crowd, with Steven Garry walking away champion on Wednesday evening, making it all look rather easy! He was joined by David Fairweather on Thursday evening as another Murder Mystery detective in the know, and both were presented with their Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy on the respective nights.

MUIR Group 2

All in all, both teams from the Muir Group performed outstandingly, and it seems that perhaps Crime Scene Investigator is a realisable career path in the near future. The Evening Entertainment was a huge success with all who attended, and we are quite sure that many of the guests have already begun swotting up for their next Murdery Mystery Event.
