Hamilton Racecourse played host to the Ernst & Young Corporate Fun Day on a glorious afternoon of Scottish sunshine. The crowd of around 150 guests began to gather in anticipation of a fantastic event, and they were certainly not let down.

The guests were met with an array of Corporate Fun Days activities spread throughout the front lawns, with so much fun on offer for both children and adults of all ages. There was the Giant Slide and the Ball Pool to keep some of our younger guests entertained, with the Assault Course and Target Golf keeping the rest of the crowds happy for hours on end. Music blasted around the grounds, keeping everybody in the party mood throughout the entire afternoon.

Dozer the Clown had come along with his fabulous Clown Workshop, and was always on hand to teach guests his favourite Clown skills, including juggling, plate spinning and mastering the ever difficult diablo! The fun and hilarity surrounding the Clown Workshop lasted the entire event, with many perfecting the tricks by the time the day was out.

There were plenty of competitions running throughout the Corporate Fun Day, with the first on the schedule over at the Bucking Bronco. Some of the times put up were quite astonishing, but the best was saved till last, as our final competitor, David, racked up an unbelievable 57 seconds! I think its safe to say he'll be fairly sore the morning after...!!! David picked up his thoroughly deserved Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy in the Hamilton Racecourse parade ring.

The next Corporate Fun Days competition was the Target Golf, and after a thrilling first couple of rounds, the semi-final had arrived. The Tiger Woods wanna-be's chipped for maximum points until we had 2 finalists - Eric and Rhona. It was a tight run thing, but the lady in torquise came out on top, with Rhona grabbing top spot to the cheers of the onlooking crowds.

The sun continued to shine as the big finale of the Corporate Fun Day drew to a close - the It's A Knockout Races. A large crowd gathered around the arena to cheer on the 3 teams, which were The Winners (pffffffft), Team Tactic and The Scallywags! The teams battled it out ina number of hilarious races, which included the Ski Race, the Caterpillar Run, and the most hilarious Space Hopper Dash we've seen in a while. Supersoaker water guns motivated the teams, whilst inspiring the crowd to cheer that little bit louder!!! When all was said and done, the Scallywags emerged victorious to a mighty cheer from the sidelines.

Ernst & Young Corporate Fun Days had proved a massive success, with all guests truely enjoying the hours of endless fun throughout the afternoon, and leaving with memories of a tremendous day at Hamilton Racecourse.
