Corporate Fun Days with St James's Place
Around 300 excited guests enjoyed an afternoon of fantastic Corporate Fun Days entertainment at St James's Place, with the Corporate Fun Day event raising money for The St James's Place Foundation.
There was lots of entertainment and activities on offer at the Corporate Fun Day, with fun to be had by all ages. There was Face Painting, Giant XBox and Wii games, a Bouncey Castle, the fairground favourite Coconut Shy and the ever hilarious Bucking Bronco. Guests could have fun on any of the Corporate Fun Days activities in return for a small donation to the Foundation, something which everybody was more than happy to do.
Perhaps some of the largest amounts donated to the St James's Place Foundation came about through the Stocks - undoubtedly one of the most fun parts of the Corporate Fun Day. Guests could donate money in return for sponges and a massive bucket of water, then take it in turns to fire the soaking sponges towards the unfortunate soul locked inside the Stocks...it was amazing! Richard, Alastair and Simon did big stints in the Stocks, raising a fantastic amount of money whilst getting absolutely soaked in the process!
The Corporate Fun Days activities were buzzing right throughout the afternoon, with big crowds drawn to all the fun and games on offer. The Find the Key Challenge proved very popular...and very difficult, with only 3 people managing to win the prizes during the entire day. The Bucking Bronco Competition drew a large crowd as well, and though it was a hard fought battle, Matt managed to hang on the longest and scored an incredible 45 seconds, which landed him the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy.
The Corporate Fun Day in aid of the St James's Place Foundation had been a huge success, and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who had attended throughout the afternoon. An incredible £5000 was raised for the St James's Place Foundation, a tremendous feat and something that will make the organisers of the Corporate Fun Day very proud. A big thank you must go to Alastair for his effort in arranging such a teriffic Corporate Fun Day, and we at Team Challenge Company wish The St James's Place Foundation the best of luck in all future money-raising endeavours.
