Corporate Fun Days Dril-Quip Summer BBQ
Around 200 excited guests of Dril-Quip arrived at Ardoe House Hotel in scorching summer sunshine to enjoy another fantastic Corporate Fun Day with Team Challenge Company.
There was a bubbling sense of eager anticipation amongst the guests as the Corporate Fun Day activities stretched as far as the eye could see. It seemed everybody knew that this was sure to be a fun-filled afternoon of family entertainment! This year's Dril-Quip Corporate Fun Day was given an extra-special touch with a fabulous beach party theme. Inflatable Beach Balls and Life Sized Cut-Outs, Windbreakers and Beach Toys lay dotted around the grounds, all adding to the exciting atmosphere of the afternoon.
There was Corporate Fun Day activities on offer for all ages, with children and adults enjoying endless hours of fun and laughter right throughout the sunny afternoon. The younger ones were kept very busy with the Inflatable Fun Zone, where the Bouncy Castle, Ball Pool and Giant Slide providing lots of giggles during the day. The Face Painting also proved very popular throughout the Corporate Fun Day, with plenty of fantastically colourful and intricate designs on display. And then there was the Children's Quads...what a highlight for so many guests at the Corporate Fun Day.
Adults too enjoyed all the Corporate Fun Day activities on offer, with the Surf Simulator, Target Golf and Human Table Football proving to be big hits. Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting, Big Screen Games and Quad Biking were also very popular, but perhaps the highlight of these Corporate Fun Days was the sensational Circus Workshop. Dozer the Clown was on hand to show off some of his incredible Circus Skills, as well as teach others to juggle, plate spin and play with the Diablo, all inside his massive Inflatable Circus Workshop. It truly was amazing fun!
More memorable moments came in the Corporate Fun Days competitions, with Laser Clays the first one of the afternoon. It might be fair to say that we have never seen a more one-sided competition in any of our Corporate Fun Days! Big Bill was unstoppable, staying on the shooting mats from start to finish. What a shot, what a man, what a champion! The Surf Simulator competition also so big crowds gather round to enjoy the spectacle. Mirren walked away the winner of the children's competition, and MaTouche was crowned the King of the Surf after an incredible 46 second ride! Great effort all round.
As the summer sun began to sink into the evening sky and the fantastic Corporate Fun Day drew to a close, it was clear that every one of the departing guests had enjoyed a fabulous afternoon of entertainment. There had been a perfect mix of Corporate Fun Days activities for all to have fun with, and the entire event had proved to be a massive success. A big thank-you must go to Lara and the rest of the committee for organising such a tremendous Corporate Fun Day, it was a pleasure to work with you all, and we at Team Challenge Company certainly look forward to seeing you all again in the future.
