Corporate Entertainment with Lundin Britain

A fantastic group from Lundin Britain enjoyed a morning session of Corporate Entertainment with Team Challenge Company on a glorious summer day at Ardoe House Hotel.
As the Corporate Entertainment Event kicked off, one man, who shall remain nameless (just joking, it was obviously Ross), was a little sleepier than the rest, but following our Helium Stick Ice Breaker, he soon jumped into the action. Both teams made the Helium Stick Challenge look surprisingly easy...until the high stakes task began. It seemed nobody could handle the pressure, as Mike and the rest of Team 2 crumbled almost instantly. Paul's Team 1 weren't much better, but may have been slightly put off by John's fantastic distractions.
The teams then moved on to the first real Corporate Entertainment activity of the day, as they battled it out head-to-head on the Mini Highland Games. The 'Clans' donned their Jimmy-Hats and launched into the first game - the Haggis Roll. It is fairly safe to say that there were no talented bowlers amongst the group, and so we headed quickly into fly casting, were Big Brian played a stormer. His technique was faultless, his aim impeccable and his brilliance undeniable. The next game of the Corporate Entertainment Event was the Welly Boot Throw, a game which saw Morgan become a hero. Less can be said for Ewan, however, who proved he was the most competitive (and biggest cheat!) with his little hidden haggis...! The final Mini Highland Game challenge was the mighty Caber Toss, an event which saw Lorna excell...what a legend!
With the scores tight following the Mini Highland Games, the Corporate Entertainment moved on the the big finale of the day - Archery. Following a spot of practice and some expert tuition, each and every one of the competitors struck gold in an incredible display of shooting prowess. The balloon round was simply sensational, with giant 'BANGS' heard all around the grounds. It was anybody's game as we headed into the final Corporate Entertainment challenge on the Archery - Closest to the Bull. And would you believe it (I still don't), Ross, or as I like to call him, Dozy, stepped up with grace and conviction to fire deep into the gold and secure a victory for Team 1...Fluke!
We headed back towards the hotel, only one thing was on the mind of each and every team member...who had won the Corporate Entertainment Event? It was certainly close, but stepping up to claim the Wooden Spoon with 6600 points was the ever-hilarious Team 2. The time had come to crown the champions of the Corporate Entertainment Event, and scoring an incredible 7700 points, it was the mighty Team 1 jumping up to accept the much-coveted Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy.
The Corporate Entertainment Event with Lundin Britain had been a great success, and though only one team could walk away winners, we are quite sure everbody left with fantastic memories of a hilarious session of Corporate Entertainment. A big thank you must go to Andrea for her part in organising such a fabulous and fun-filled Corporate Entertainment Event, the group from Lundin Britain were a real pleasure to work with, and we at Team Challenge Company certainly look forward to working with you all again soon.
