Corporate Fun Days with Munro's Travel Agency

We hope this blog will bring back some great memories of your fantastic Corporate Fun Day Event. Check out all the photos from the afternoon, and don't forget to leave us a comment at the bottom of the page with some of your highlights and favourite moments!

The sun shone brightly throughout the afternoon as a fabulous bunch from Munro's Travel Agency enjoyed a fantastic Corporate Fun Day at Logie Durno.

The 50-strong group arrived in excited fashion for what was sure to be a truly unforgettable Corporate Fun Day. As the teams stepped off the coach, it was clear that everybody was really looking forward with eager anticipation to a fun-filled and frantic Corporate Fun Day Event, and they were certainly not to be disappointed. The group had arrived seperated into 8 teams, and all had come dressed to impress. We had the Pink Princesses, Charlie's Angels, Bananas in Pyjamas, the Ladybirds, Hawaii Oranges, the Navy 83's, the Army Dudes and the MIB's, all prepared to battle it out across the various Corporate Fun Day activities in a bid to be crowned champions and walk away with the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy.

We kicked the afternoon off with a pumping warm-up, which saw all teams get fired up and ready to rock throughout the Corporate Fun Day activities that lay ahead. Mrs T's warm-up style was particularly impressive, and her Star-Jumps were a wonder to behold...! The teams then jumped into the opening Corporate Fun Day games, competing head-to-head across the Human Table Football, Bungee Run, Gladiator Duel and Bucking Bronco. Steph dominated the Human Table Football with her crazy/aggressive style, and Angelic Ang (who was a completely nuts) let her competitive side shine through on the Bucking Bronco to push the Charlie's Angels to victory.

The Army Dudes were pheonomenal on the Gladiator Duel, as Murray took no prisoners, beating opponents to the ground left, right and centre...what a legend! Agent Wright (aka Big Mad Michael) stretched for victory on the Bungee Run, outrunning every single competitor on throughout the Corporate Fun Day afternoon, an incredible demonstration of athletic prowess. There was a short break following the opening Corporate Fun Day activities to allow the teams to catch their breath and take on some 'refreshments' before heading back in to the second session of Corporate Fun Day entertainment. This time the teams competed on Mini Highland Games, Target Golf and some It's A Knockout Races.

Munro Sack

The It's A Knockout races undoubtedly providing some of the most hilarious highlights from the Corporate Fun Day. Charlie's Angels bounced higher and harder than anybody else in the Space Hopper Race, and the Bananas in Pyjamas flew on the Bullseye Sack Race. The Pink Princesses were shattered after their races, and the Navy 83's were just plain rubbish! Kirsty from the Army Dudes was one of the slowest racers we have ever seen, but she wasn't as slow as Big Mad Michael and his 'Small Ball'! We had plenty of fallers in the Space Hopper Dash, gladly almost all competitors remembered to release that grip on the horns...almost all!

As the Corporate Fun Day drew to a close the time had come that everybody had been waiting for...and no, it wasn't a strip-show...it was the results! We had some fantastic individual prizes up for grabs, which saw Crazy Steph pick up the Most Enthusiastic Award, and Lisa and the Bananas in Pyjamas walk away with the Biggest Moaners Award. Angelic Ang and her competitive streak ensured she walked away with the Captain of the Day Award - what an inspiration! Following the individual awards it was time for the main prize of the day - the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy. With a few last minute bribes taken into consideration, this is how the results table looked.

    What a day !!!
Huuuge thanks to all at Team Challenge for their work on the day. The enthusiasm they showed for what must be a routine day for some of them was outstanding. Our staff were all walking a bit like John Wayne on the Monday, but lots of laughter not only on the day but in the office since, and great memories to keep the staff upbeat. Would definately recommend TC for a staff event, and hopefully we will meet again. Training has begun and we've decided to have Mrs T give the staff star jump training every morning before we start work !!!!!

What a real pleasure to entertain all at Munro's Travel at their It's A Knockout.in the beautiful countryside at Logie Durno. What an effort all the teams made in dressing up and my goodness how competitive are you !!!

A big shout out to the lovely Cheryl for such an excellent job on the day of keeping all the teams in order - even though she hacked her way thru the Human Table Football - oh yes you did !.

The teams all rose to the Challenges throughout the day and massive respect to the Ladybirds for producing the goods at every event when it really mattered.

Wish we could have bottled the atmosphere and the banter- mind you it is probably immoral to have that much fun with your clothes on.

Think all the boys from Team Challenge Company will sign up for the Mrs.T workout !

See you all again soon and make sure we get Scott in top shape for the re-match..

    Stephen
