We hope this blog will bring back some great memories of your fantastic It's A Knockout Event. Check out all the photos from the afternoon, and don't forget to leave us a comment at the bottom of the page with some of your highlights and favourite moments!
Not even an afternoon of torrential downpours could dampen the spirits of 12 brave teams from Dundee who battled it out in the fabulous and frantic Clydesdale Bank It's A Knockout Event at Piperdam Golf & Leisure Resort.

The exited and energetic teams, who have since become affectionately known by Team Challenge Company as The Crazy Dozen, represented a wide mix of Dundee-based organisations at the It's A Knockout Event, which included publishers DC Thompson, accountancy firm Henderson Loggie and IT solutions specialists BrightSolid. The 12 teams prepared to compete across a number of wet and wild It's A Knockout challenges in a bid to walk away champs and take home the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy.

The fantastic It's A Knockout Event kicked-off with the traditional Team Challenge Company warm-up, and rumour has it that Jackie has passed the super-stylish dance on to Craig Levein and the Dundee Utd boys will be using it for the rest of the season! Whether that is true or not remains to be determined, but we can be sure that the warm-up caused mass hysteria and hilarity throughout the masses...what an athletic bunch...and what amazing star-jumps!

The rain continued but so did the crazy It's A Knockout fun, as the teams raced through the Caterpillar Tracks and the Water Pull Race. The rivalry between the teams was plain to see, but perhaps there was no battle more fierce that of The Jolly Rogers and Derek's Dark Destroyers! The It's A Knockout challenges were interspersed with some Inflatable Fun, with the 12 teams competing against each other on the Human Table Football, Gladiator Duel and the mighty Assault Course...how wet was that by the way...? Still, all the more fun, especially for Banana-Man of the DC Thompson Terriers!

More hilarious and fast paced It's A Knockout challenges ensued, including the Sponge Sprint, the Bullseye Sack Race and the ever-difficult Obstacle Skis, leaving just the big finale to the It's A Knockout Event - The Space Hopper Dash. The Blood, Sweat and Tears team showed phenomenal ability and outrageous technique, as The Black Adders and The Shepherds lay about in the mud for most of the race! With the final race done and dusted the teams headed inside to get dried off and warmed up before the big trophy presentation...what an anxious wait it must have been.
The Team Challenge Company Trophy stood proudly next to the Clydesdale Bank SPL Trophy, which was on display throughout the afternoon for all to admire and enjoy. Though many wanted to get their hands on that fabulous trophy that has been lifted by so many famous Scottish teams of the past, it seemed that earning the right to lift the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy would be just as sweet! Team Challenge Company was delighted to introduce Dundee Utd players Greg Cameron and Gary Kenneth to the teams, with the boys posing to provide some memorable photographs for all in attendance. The scores were tight and tensions ran high as the results to the It's A Knockout Event were read out; we have included the full table of results below.

The BrightSolid Crew stepped up to rounds of rapturous applause as they collected the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy from the Dundee Utd boys and lifted it high above their heads...truly deserving winners of the It's A Knockout Event - what a team! The entire afternoon had been a massive success, with all in attendance thoroughly enjoying the It's A Knockout entertainment. A big thank you must go to Jackie for her part in organising such a fantastically memorable day, the entire group of 'athletes' from all organizations were a real pleasure to work with, and we at Team Challenge Company certainly hope to see you all again very soon.
Well Done , Jackie and everyone who was involved for organising such a fun day. Enjoyed all the activities thanks to Team Challenge Co for keeping our day full of fun.
Jackie, Jackie, Jackie - where did it all go wrong ?
When you told me you had been to the gym - I though you were training ...not just buying more high heeled trainers !
Great day with everyone at Piperdam and despite the crazy weather everyone put in full effort for some awesome team performances- with the Bright Solid Crew finishing top of the heap - a rather muddy heap by the finale !
Thanks again to Jackie for such excellent organisation of the day - but take my advice...
.....Next years re-match will be even tougher ! But only wetter if we compete in the loch !

Had a fantastic day, well done to all who organised this event. The guys from team challenge were a mad bunch and kept our spirits up all day in the heavy rain. Hopefully this will be a regular event. But was pleased to of been part of it and hope the money raised helps out Roxburghe house. WELL DONE AND THANKS TO ALL.
Alan (Talking Tayside Team)
A great way to raise money and have a great time into the bargain - I don't think the rain dampened anyone's spirits really - I particularly enjoyed the space hopper race, my sides were splitting from laughing so much.
Well done everyone for organising such a great event.
