Family Fun Day with Salamis

It was a warm sunny day for the start of the Salamis Summer Corporate Fun Day BBQ in Aberdeen on Sunday 30th August 2009. There was a huge selection of Corporate Fun Day equipment from Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting, Archery and Target Golf to Giant Slide, Gladiator Duel and Large Assault Course.
The Corporate Fun Day event kicked off at 2pm and the guests were keen to get on the grass and get stuck into all the 
activities laid on for them. Face Painting as always was a huge hit with butterflies and Spiderman faces appearing everywhere and for the Adults the Quad Bikes was a popular choice.
The first Corporate Fun Day competition of the day was the Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting and although highly attended almost all of the entrants left their brains behind them hehe, there was one sharp shooter Lyndsey who was rocking from the start and deserved the winners trophy, keep up the practice everyone and hopefully next year we can have a closer tighly fought contest.
The next Corporate Fun Day competition was the Archery and we were promised by all participants that the standard would be higher, we weren't disappointed and it turned out to be a very close contest in the end between a young man no more than 16 and a young lady over 40...we have kept the names secret but included a picture for all to see who shattered the dreams of the young budding Archer.
Food time came at 4pm and everyone took a small rest and got 
stuck into the beautiful BBQ laid on in the Ballroom. Once everyone was refuelled it was time for the Knockout Challenge and with two teams entered it was going to be a close found contest. The two teams were the MiMi and Team Salamis headed up by Clive although we think there was a battle for team captain with the team, more news on thsi as we get it!

As the guests began to drift away it was clear that everybody had thoroughly enjoyed the entire afternoon, and that the Corporate Fun Day Event had been a massive success. A big thank-you must go to Clive for his part in organising such a truly unforgettable Corporate Fun Day, the Salamis guests were a joy to work with and we at Team Challenge Company certainly look forward to seeing everybody again soon.
