Quiz Night with HFMA

Around 40 excited guests from HFMA arrived at the gorgeous Vale Golf Resort & Spa in Glamorgan in eager anticipation of a fun-filled and frenzied Quiz Night, Team Challenge Company style.
As the fabulous dinner came to a close, the tensions began to build to an all-time high - the mighty Quiz Night was about to commence. The group competed across 5 separate tables, each one battling it out for as many points as possible in a bid to walk away winners of the much-coveted Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy. The tables quickly chose teams names, and so it was that Dan's Dragons, Liquorice Allsorts, CVV, Gwent Police and 2-Short would compete for the top prize...Let the fun and games begin...!
The Quiz Night kicked-off with the ever-challenging Guess Who and General Knowledge rounds, which saw CVV storm into an early lead, closely followed by 2-Short! The teams had soon settled into their stride by the time the Movie Picture Round flashed up on screen...though some strides were slightly shorter than others - Gwent Police, you know who we're talking about! Still haven't quite worked out whether than shirt was salmon or just plain pink!
The hilarious Quiz Night action continued into Sports and Cars of the Stars Round, where some teams faired slightly better than others! Poor Jo struggled throughout, and rumour has it she may even have trouble spotting the difference between a De Lorean and a Dyson. Dan's Dragons shone through in the Cars of the Stars Round, even pointing out Mr. Bean's Lime Green Mini was actually the work of British Leyland - I guess you really do learn something new every day!
The hugely difficult though immensely entertaining Dingbats round brought the Quiz Night towards its almighty finale, with 2-Short storming through almost each and every question, though it seems there may have been Velcro placed on the seats over at Gwent Police's table! With Billy Boy (and his nice white tie) checking in on the final scores, the nerves flowed through the room as the teams found out who would be battling it out for the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy, and who would be bidding to avoid the embarrassment of taking home the Wooden Spoon.
The fast-paced and frantic Animal Race would determine the final result of the Quiz Night, with Gwent Police and Liquorice Allsorts, AKA Lambrini Girls, in the play-off for the Wooden Spoon. The Gwent Police continued their abysmal run of form and finished well behind the Liquorice Allsorts, picking up the Wooden Spoon for their weak-sauce efforts. The big final saw the 2-Short, CVV and Dan's Dragons race off for that mighty prize! The race itself was a blur of speed and fury, but only one team could come out on top. Consistency shone through, and CVV pulled it out off the bag to claim a sensational victory and walk away with the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy.
The Quiz Night had been a huge success, with all in 
attendance thoroughly enjoying a spectacularly hilarious evening of entertainment. A big thank-you must go to Danielle and Jo for all the effort and hard-work that went in to making the Quiz Night such a memorable one, HFMA group were a real pleasure to work with, and we at Team Challenge Company hope to see you all again soon.
