Team Challenge Company had the great pleasure of working with Aricent , with Team Training & Team Development being the central focus on a sunny day in London at the Thistle Marble Arch Hotel. The Team Development day was divided into two sessions, with the groups of 25 guests taking part in both the morning and afternoon sessions.
The Team Development day revolved around showing their passion for business, realising the talent of the team and encouraging innovation and creativity, all whilst achieving results and having fun and enjoyment in the process. The teams arrived in eager anticipation for an exciting and motivating day of Team Development, and they were not to be disappointed.
The Team Development morning session saw a huge variety of presentations of their business ideas and concepts, with first up to the plate Team 4 scoring 45 points from our 3 Dragon Judges, Team 2 scored 49 points , Team 1 scored an impressive 52.5 points and the champs were team 3 with a highly creative and entertaining presentation scoring a huge 55.5 points. It safe to say there was no shortage of creativity and thinking outside the box in this room and what a laugh with our performers - it was like X Factor !
The highlight of the afternoon session of Team Development was undoubtedly the Bridge Build. Where teams showed huge excitement and potential throughout the Team Building task, particularly when it came to accurately measuring the gap...! When it came to the test, for the teams it really was Mission:Impossible, with all 4 Teams ending up in the crevasse...a first for Team Challenge Company, plenty of thinkers but alas not many builders. Many came close to success but none raised the roof with cheers of celebration only shouts as their car toppled off that shaky bridge - must try harder next time !
The time for trophy presentations had soon arrived, The first task was to welcome up Team 4 to collect the Wooden Spoon for their last place finish with a "Thanks for Turning Up" 700 points. Teams 2 fared a little better on 800, and in second came team 1 on an excellent 900 points... but it was a runaway success at the top as Team 3 who walked away as champions, scoring a very impressive 1000 points from the Team Building Challenges.
Well done Team 3- it had all come down to consistency and a great team performance, and there was none more consistent that the incredible Team 3, who lifted their Trophy aloft to the sounds of rapturous applause - what an effort- what a team!
The Team Development day with Aricent had proved to be a complete success, with all in attendance thoroughly enjoying the Team Challenges on show throughout the day. A big thank-you must go to Prachi for organising such a fantastic day of Team Development, your effort and enthusiasm really shone through during the event , and we at Team Challenge Company certainly look forward to working with you again in the near future.
A real pleasure to work with Aricent at such a great venue and location at the Thistle Marble Arch Hotel were the staff were so easy to work alongside in delivering this indoor event. The team presentations at the Design An Ad were full of creativity, fun and plenty of enthusiasm with the prop department was working full out. The bridge build just proves that our Team Challenges are never as easy as they first look - get some practice in for next time !.
A big thanks to Prachi for all her help on the day and for being one of the Dragon judges - I think you really enjoyed the experience too.
Hope to see you all again at your next event.
