A fantastic Evenings Entertainment with Wood Group who enjoyed a memorable night of Games Mania Entertainment at The Carmelite Hotel in Aberdeen with fast paced and frantic games and competitions throughout the evening.
The Indoor Entertainment had begun with the group being split into 10 smaller teams. As the Games commenced the hilarity kicked off, starting with team members trying to swap teams.. but the transfer window was firmly closed.
The Team Building Indoor Enetretainment night went with a bang as the teams went head to head in the fast and furious highly competitive Indoor Laser Shooting Round. Unfortunately not everyone was up to the challenge and some shooters went from heroes to zeroes in double quick time- can you still hear the duck that got away ?.
The remote Control driving was always going to be a serious challenge and some of the driving ability on show was breath-taking both good and bad !. we would never have guessed that our lady players were all legends on the driving scene...but how they proved us wrong!
Then with even more hilarity and deafening shouts of OFFSIDE, and a multitude of goals during the Indoor Entertainment game of Foosball say some cheaters decided to get a little heavy handed and spend the entire game spinning but our own eagle eyed instructor Rachel kept them in order..!
Target Golf was the next Indoor Enetratainment challenge on offer and who knew Tony was a bandit on the golf course! The Giant Screen Wii proved a real challenge for the over 40's but Russell keep the pressure on them with Olympic Challenges ranging from running to swimming to javelin throwing- what a sporting lot you are !
As Games Night Entertainment drew to a close the scores where tight, with nothing to separate the top teams. There could only be one round to separate the wheat from the chaff - the mighty Bat the Rat! The fur flew as team faced off MAN against RAT. It was tight, but with just a mighty swing of the Bat a few hundred points separated the heroes from the also rans,
Team 10 came in a very creditable 3rd, with Team 4 close one rung higher on the ladder in second place but it was Team 3 who grabbed an early lead in the events and stayed there, outlasting the rest of the teams round after round to claim the gleaming Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy.
The Wood Group Games Mania Entertainment was a resounding success, and thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended. A big thank you must go to Tony who did a fantastic job in organizing such a memorable night of Evening Entertainment, and everybody at Team Challenge Company looks forward to the next event with Wood Group.
