We hope this blog will bring back some great memories of your fantastic Team Building & Executive Quiz Night. Check out all the photos from the evening, and don't forget to leave us a comment at the bottom of the page with some of your highlights and favourite moments
The Team from Almac group arrived at Hilton Templepatrick for their annual conference in high spirits looking forward to their Team Building day and Evening Entertainment with Team Challenge Company.
The group were split into 8 teams of different nationalities and they made their way out for a fun afternoon. The weather was threatening but nobody was worried once they knew what brilliant Team building Activities were in store for them.
Helium Stick was the first Team Building Activity of the day and after a lot of practice and complaining from Team 4 (tut tut) the game was on. The teams struggled for the first couple of minutes and then as they settled down for complete concentration and focus, the almighty Team 1 came through to grab victory from the finger tips of the other teams.
At Rollerball the teams were trying their hardest to beat the long standingTeam Challenge Company record of 1 min 35 seconds and after the first 2 groups had been and gone we thought their wasn't going to be a Record breaking score. Then came Team 3 they looked fit and focused to take this challenge on and after a big debate they set their stall out ready for a massive time. The bad news is they were all talk and they could be blamed for losing the plot. In essence they made a huge booboo with their ball falling off their device after just 7 seconds with the team screaming words that we cannot repeat ha ha. But on a good note Team 1 were victorious again with a time of 36 seconds in this very challenging Team building Activity.
The Team Building Challenge, Casket was a struggle for some teams as they thought it was as easy to complete as it looked. As they jumped into the Team Building challenge with two feet and never thinking about how to finish the task before starting (school boy error)resulted in only 3 team's excelleing with full marks and they were Teams 3, 4, and 9.
Almost time for the finish and the last Team Building Activity was Plank Walk. This is a great way for the teams to get involved and show off some of their balancing skills, with 8 people in a team they knew it was going to be very tight and cosy as they made their way to the other side for victory.
Team 3 found this Team Building Activity hard from the start with communication and safety being the key, but it was a case of too many chiefs and not enough Indians he he.
This Team Building Activity came to a standstill; there was an imposter on the field trying to make the activity easier for his team but our very own Euan Bell kept his Eagle Eye Cherry thoroughly on the game in hand and deducted the team crucial points which helped in their failing of this activity. We were not going to name and shame him but the rage form the other teams meant he brought this on himself the one and only OLIVER was the man they called the cheat.
With the teams rivalry we all got together for the finale on the catapult. With only 3 teams launching a shot in the practice time, it came down to the final shot to decide who would win with team 1 and 4 both getting fantastic shots of over 100 m team 4 stole the win by 1/2m, well done team.
A fantastic afternoon of Team Building and a very entertaining night of Evening Entertainment was enjoyed by everyone from Almac, with 100% given from all the teams it was very energetic and fun filled throughout the Team Building afternoon and right through to the final question of the Executive Quiz Night. Many great memories will be taken from the day with Team Challenge Company, a big thank you to Nina and Tania for organising the event for everyone, hope to work with you all again in the near future.
