Generation Game Show with Clydesdale Bank

The stunning outlook of the The Discovery Point provided the perfect background for a fantastic Team Challenge Company Entertainment Evening of our famous Generation Gameshow on behalf of Clydesdale Bank.
With a 100 strong crowd of invited guests from Dundee and afar, all dressed up and anxiously waiting for the gameshow to commence, we took some time to introduce the teams to each other. With the 10 Ronnie's and Jackie Jingles chosen as team names we knew we were in for a fun packed night of Evening Entertainment.
The entertaining and ever popular Stephen our quiz master for the Evening Entertainment, started proceedings with the ever hilarious round of Hit or Miss. Team Tinsel Town took an early lead and with all their team members still in after five songs they looked destined to take top points. Then out of nowhere they made a grave error and crashed out, the whole team going for a Hit when the right answer was Miss, this put the whole team back on their bums, almighty laughter came from Team Entertainers who along with Team Wisemen took top points for this round.
The next two Quiz rounds of Guess Where and Christmas General Knowledge proved difficult for Team Tinsel Town who scored one of the lowest scores we have ever had in the past few years, shame on you Bah Humbug.
Then we came to the first of the Generation Game events for the evening, Reindeer Build, the teams were given a bag of goodies to construct their Reindeer in the time given. With shouts from the Elf's claiming sabotage from the 10 Ronnie's with one leg missing... there was a clear winner in Jackie Jingles with an impressive 89cm.
It was time to relax again and along came Guess Who, it was a high scoring round with 10 Ronnie's and Santa's little helper turning up the heat with full marks and Jackie's Jingles claiming bottom for the round with a low score. The Evening Entertainment experience was a rollercoaster for Jackies Jingles coming from top marks in Reindeer to bottom of the pack in Guess Who
The next Generation Game was Christmas Mascot, There was no holding back now the teams were off with a dedicated time of 15 mins to get their Christmas Mascot ready in time for the unveiling. We couldn't believe our eyes when we saw a gentleman who we will not mention strip down to his thermals and shout to his team TAPE ME! Some of the designs that were developing looked fantastic but some looked like they from the Rocky Horror Show. After the deliberations of the jury there was one team who deserved to be the winner and it was ........ The 10 Ronnie's with a face that would give THE JOKER a run for his money.
Cake Decorating was the next Generation Game round before we headed for the Generation Conveyor Belt. We knew from the last round that there 
was not going to be any team holding back with their Christmas super hero designs. And boy we were not disappointed, we had everything from Superman to christmas boy and a couple that are just to controversial to publish.
The 3 teams going into the final were chosen and they were Jackie's Jingles, Wisemen and the 10 Ronnie's. The teams were ready to go and with the rest of the crowd up off their seats they were off... with Wisemen 
taking an early lead and cheating going on left right and centre it was a fast and furious race to the finish..
Once the teams where back in their seats catching their breath, we had the scores added up and as we all know there must be a winner and loser. The crowd was on tender hooks until the winner was announced and it was the ever impressive 10 Ronnie's

It's always great working with the Clydesdale Bank and from the noise you all enjoyed it as well, maybe enjoyed it a little to much during the dressing up section!. A big shout out and thank you to Alison and her team for organising the event and her organisation makes the night run so smoothly.
