We hope this blog will bring back some great memories of your fantastic Corporate Team Building Day. Check out all the photos from the afternoon, and don't forget to leave us a comment at the bottom of the Team building Day page with some of your highlights and favourite moments!
It was a cold clear frosty day for the start of the GDF Suez Team Building Day on Wednesday 20th January at the picturesque Pittodrie House Hotel
The Team Building event kicked off at 2pm and the guests were keen to get down onto the estate and get stuck into all the activities laid on for them. After a short walk down to the activity site the Quad Bikes were the first on the go and a hugely popular choice for all. Getting dressed into the overalls was a sight to behold and the fashion on display was truly outstanding - Jill lead the way with the most fashionable of purple welly boots of the day- but as the day wore on the boys went for the muddy trailblazer look !
The next group on the Team Building and stepping up in the competition element of the day was the Clay Pigeon Shooting, and although highly competitive almost all of the willing participants settled into and enjoyed the start until the nerves set in and the thought of the waiting gleaming trophy upset even the steadiest of aims. A great flurry of broken clays from Isobel made an excellent start, and Fraser stepped up to quickly smash the clays as they flew overhead, the but there was one sharp shooter Ross and who was rocking from the start and truly deserved a great score on his Clay Pigeon Shooting score card.
As the light faded thru the afternoon the wind got colder, targets got harder and maybe quicker - well let's say more challenging - keep up the practice everyone and hopefully next year we can have a more closely fought contest- hopefully in the blazing sunshine !.
After a short walk back through the walled garden the guests arrived back at the hotel for warming cups of tea and coffee and it was clear that everybody had thoroughly enjoyed the entire afternoon, and that the Team Building Event had been a massive success. A big thank-you must go to Jill for her part in organising such a truly unforgettable Team Building, the GDF Suez guests were a joy to work with and we at Team Challenge Company certainly look forward to seeing everybody again soon.
A beautiful winters day at Pittodrie House Hotel entertaining GDF Suez. Everyone was a real pleasure to work with - safe , fun and competitive - the quads were a real adrenaline charged treat but the clay shooting was a real challenge for all and hopefully next time we can enjoy more of the same in blazing sunshine.
A big shout out to Jill for orgainising the afternoon and hope we can entertain you all again in the near future.
