It was a fantastic day for a Team Building City Scavenger Hunt with BG Group at Tiger Tiger and with Team Challenge Company at the helm, it was always going to be a great day of Teambuilding madness.
We kicked of the afternoon with the 30 strong staff by splitting them into 4 teams and after the briefing and answering several intelligent questions the team building scavenger hunt around the city of Aberdeen began.
With 30 minutes into the scavenger hunt Team 1 (Red Fox) were alerted of their first mission for extra points from base camp, (code named Hairy Beaver). They were given the task of finding the Scavenger fugitive in 20 minutes at a secret location or lose points.
Our Team Building Scavenger fugitive watched them as they made their way through the bustling crowds and found their package to claim full points, Team 1 set there sights on the Team Challenge trophy and ran off into the distance.
We had our people on the streets watching what the teams were upto and making sure nobody was being too mischievous but in true style Team 2 didn't let us down, we won't mention names ha ha.
Then it was the turn of Team 2 (Big Mother) to do their mission. They were seeking around Aberdeen like they were looking for real treasure but came up emptied handed in this task, they came so close in the sports shop but never asked the secret question.
With half of this Team Building event already over and nobody back to base yet, we were ready to send out a search party for Team 3 (Twinkle Toes) but our spies told us they were in W.H Smith for at least 2 hours buying all there Scavenger Hunt list items naught naughty. Not even this group could come up trumps with their mission as the fugitive was sitting with his feet up watching them go by.
Team 4 (Baby Cakes) were on the hit list next with their mission but with Alan in this team anything could happen and it did. They got lost looking for the fugitive, they even walked passed him five times which is almost a record but again those secret words were not spoken.
On this crisp day and after all the points were counted, pictures presented and scavenger items fought over there could be only one winner ......and that winner was........ Team 1 with a massive score of 550 points and limping up Second place Team 4 with 500 points and next in line was Team 3 then taken away the coveted new generation of wooden spoon it was Team 2.
It was a fanatstic day of Teambuilding with a memorable City Scavenger Hunt and we must say a huge thank you to Alan for organising not only the event but the weather, hoping you all have great memories of the day and remember the fugitive moves aong us.
PS - A Photo fugitive made it into all the team pictures see can you find him or her and let us know!!
The gathering was slow but once the teams smelt the trophy and knew it was competitive there was no stopping them. My favourite moment was the debate about the eraser or was it a rubber..haha Well done Alan and all the team you put in a great effort.
