Quiz Night with Covidien

The guests from Covidien arrived at the beautiful St David's Hotel and Spa in Cardiff in eager anticipation of a fun-filled and frenzied Corporate Quiz Night, - Team Challenge Company style.
As the pre dinner drinks came to a finish, the tensions began to build to an all-time high - the mighty Corporate Interactive Quiz Night was about to commence. The group competed across 5 separate tables, during a sumptuous dinner in a private suite, with each team battling it out for as many points as possible in a bid to walk away winners of the much-coveted Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy.
Tables quickly chose team names, and so it was tCoyote Gorgeous, Dirty Chicks, 5 Alive, Bleach and Mass Debaters, who stepped up to the challenge to compete for the top prize...Let the Interactive Quiz Night and challenges begin...!
The evening kicked off with the ever popular and highly brain draining Name the Advert as the teams got down to the business of straining the brain cells and coming up with their best team answers- or worst in some cases ! As the Games commenced the madness kicked off, starting with team members trying to swap teams... but the transfer window was firmly closed- especially for Phil and Shane !.
The Interactive Quiz Night carried on with the ever-challenging Picture This round- can you tell what it is yet !, then into Guess Where rounds, which saw Dirty Chicks storm into an early lead, closely followed by Bleach! The teams had soon settled into their stride ...well all apart for the poor Mass Debators!
The hilarious Quiz Night action continued into Dingbats Round, where some teams faired slightly better than others! Poor Coyote Gorgeous struggled throughout, and the rumour was that they were only here for the wine !. The tension was huge as points were won and thrown away on this highly competitive Quiz Night round!
With Phil spurring his team on towards victory ( not to mention offering bribes ! ), the nerves flowed through the room as the teams found out who would be battling it out for the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy, and who would be hiding to avoid the embarrassment of taking home the Corporate Quiz Night Wooden Spoon.
After the teams had enough mental challenges - they went mental trying to dress to impress the judges in the make the Perfect Team Mascot round, producing some strange yet wonderful costumes to wow the judges with...just look at the photographs !
The fast-paced and frantic final few rounds including Balloon Tower round saw the lead change no fewer than three times and the Grand Finale was the Bridge Build Round that would determine the final result of 
the Quiz Night with all teams straining to Cross the Canyon- but for some it was indeed Mission Impossible !
The Coyote Gorgeous continued their unfortunately abysmal run of form and finished well behind the Dirty Chicks team, picking up the Wooden Spoon for their crazy efforts on 3300 points. Only one team could come out on top. Consistency shone through, Bleach on a massive 8000 points pulled it out of the bag to claim a sensational victory and walk away with the Team Challenge Company Winners Trophy.
The Executive Quiz Night had been a tremendous success for Covidien with all in attendance thoroughly enjoying a spectacularly hilarious evening of entertainment- how competitive are you guys and girls!. A big shout out and thank-you must go to Liz for all her effort and hard-work that went in to making their Corporate Quiz Night such a memorable one. Covidien were a real delight to work with, and we at Team Challenge Company hope to see you all and entertain you all again soon in the near future.

What a wonderful team to work with and they made our night special and one we here at Team Challenge Company will remember forever. (Gerry, Gerry, Gerry was ringing in my head for days! haha)

Great night of crazy fun at St. Davids Hotel and Spa with Covidien - Karen - your team really step up to every challenge with a real passion !
Thanks to Liz for keeping everyone in order...well all apart from Phil and Shane - those boys really know how to party - but alas not how to build a bridge !

I would like to thank everyone at team challenge for making it such a good event, especially Gerry and Stephen who created a great atmosphere and made the event. We all had a really great time and would highly recommend the interactive quiz.
I don't think there was anyone that didn't get involved which goes to show that there was something for everyone, I think i discovered a new talent in building balloon towers!
I'm sure i will be in touch about future events

Absolutely brilliant night. Probably one of the best corporate events that I have ever attended - even though we got the wooden spoon!

Look. We all know this was a stitch-up. The Mass Debators were clearly the superior team but there were numerous attempts throughout the night to thwart our comebacks following the downright cheating that went on during the first round. Even Rocky Balboa would've been proud of the come back we made but it wasn't to be. We want a rematch!!!
In all seriousness it was a great night and we all thouroughly enjoyed the experience. Stephen and Gerry were superb - two legends to be fair.
