We hope this blog will bring back some great memories of your fantastic Multi Activity Team Building Event. Check out all the photos from the event, and don't forget to leave us a comment at the bottom of the page with some of your highlights and favourite moments!
Wednesday 5th May 2010 and the bus carrying all but one of the Team from Aquamarine arrive at Melville Castle for their Team Building event with Team Challenge Company. After a top up of coffee and a finger of short bread we divide up the group into 6 teams namely - Lobsters, Seahorses, Oysters, Starfish, Jellyfish and the Turtles.
After a rather precarious start to this fun Team Building event and with teams running left right and centre things finally settle down once the compass skills were tightened. The teams fought hard on the first three Team Building activities and at the lunch time whistle it was the Seahorses and Starfish who were leading the way. The brand value cards were strategically played by the Seahorses, however the Trurtles learned a valuable lesson early on, if you play your bonus card make sure you get the points!!
With a refreshing lunch inside the hungry stomachs the Team Building challenge continued with Giraffe Build, luckly at least two of the engineers within the team were awake and the Turtles make a huge comback scoring high, leaving the Oysters second to last, poor Kyle, all he wanted was to leave and join a new team....
Another three Team Building treasure hunt tasks followed and the tired legs started to show as we gathered together at the pavillion, with the Lobsters enthusiasm still as strong as from the starting whistle they were a credit to themselves. With all the brand values played and most enjoying the Nurture card the most it was time to find out who was first and probably more importantly who was last.
Well done to all who took part and a special mention to Linsey for organising this Team Building event for the team, we certainly look forward to challenging your team again and to find out if the Lobsters have held on to their infectous enthusiasm.
A fantastic team to work with, the pictures say it all. The enthusiasm was infectious, the competition tight however the compass skills were leaving a lot to be desired.
The cream always rises to the top so well done to the Turtles.
