Professional Panning Forum

Games ManiaWe started our two nights of Evening Entertainment with the professional Planning with a crowd of 150 at the Hilton Metropole Birmingham, it was a Funfair theme with a host of great corporate activities sponsored by EG Solutions.

There was a real buzz of excitement when the clients arrived and seeing all the corproate activities on show.  With the famous Dozer the clown entertaining the masses we knew the night was going to be a huge success.  There was prizes given out left right and centre as the guests were trying so hard to take away the top prizes of Watches, T-shirts, and hand held games.

Games Mania Bucking BroncoThe Bucking Bronco proved to be the  main attraction for the evenings entertainment and this activity got everybody off their seats trying to beat the record held  by Francis who was on top form for most of the evening before the man they call Big Sunny crushed Francis's dreams by beating his time and lifting one of the fantastic Watches unlucky Francis better luck next time...

The evening entertainment was full of fun and frolics as we had plate spinning, Bat the Rat, Basketball, Laser Shooting competitions and much more which kept everybody coming back for more.

Day two arrived, Tuesday 20th April at Hilton Birmingham was the venue for the 10th anniversary of the Professional Planning Forums Innovation Awards 2010, It was an evening entertainment night not to be missed.

The almost 30Quiz Night0 strong invited guests were dressed up to the nines and gathered in the lobby for a drinks reception at 7.30pm.  Inside the dinning suite the room layout and stage setup looked outstanding and ready for a great night of evening entertainment.  The band was rehearsing and we were putting the final preparations on the tables before the guests were invited in.

7.33pm and with the Black Eyed Peas "Good Night" blasting out the guest entered this beautiful room and took their seats.  Formal introductions were made by Mr. Paul Smedley, Executive Director for the Professional Planning Forum after which, It was our turn to Quiz Nightcreate madness in the room Team Challenge Company style.  We began the evening entertainment with balloon tower and with over 900 balloons and 28 teams in play the next 10 minutes were a haze of latex, screams and shouts of ours is 45 inches what's yours.   Once we finished this fantastic Ice Breaker Challenge the winning team was table 28 with a huge 68 inches.

Guest relaxed and enjoyed their starter and with discussions of how they could have done better it was a noisy room, after starter it was the quiet picture round and teams had the duration of their main course to guess the answer to 20 picture clues for this quiz night section.

Indoor EntertainmentAfter desert and before the main awards event we shook off the dinner with an evening entertainment game of Hit or Miss.  The pressure was huge as no team wanted to be first out and with each passing song the celebrations got better and better.  The most energetic celebrations came from team 6 and deservingly so they made it to the final 3.

With all the scores counted and a trophy to give out the winners after a fantastic Balloon Tower and a further two steady quiz night rounds was team 27 and their neighbors team 28 coming in last.
