Standard Life Investments Team Building Event

Monday 28th - Wednesday 30th June was the date for this years Standard Life 
Investment Team Building Away Day and with the sun shining on Monday we knew it was going to be a great few days.
The theme this year was a Crystal Challenge Team Building Event and with 8 teams gathered together each day, winning was top of the agenda for most. Mike kicked off each Team Building day with some words of encouragement and once the rules of engagement were understood the teams took to the playing field to battle it out, Mikes greatest moment over the few days was maintaining his fastest man status on the flag race, well done, not just for that but for taking part with full commitment each and everyday.
With so many entertaining characters each day we could write a diary on them all, however to spare you a running commentary we have a few memories to bring a smile to your day from the fantastic Team Building Event at Melville Castle.
Firstly there was Little Jimmy, the quiet one until he took a hammer in his hand. He was one of only two to take down the nail on day one. Nice one
Second mention goes to the number machine, they call him Tom, or Mr T to his closest friends! He was like a human matrix as he directed his team to the fastest ever Towers of Hanoii completion over the three days.
Third mention on this brilliant Team Building Event goes to Tony on Day three and his 
incredible sense of humour, especially when we told the gimp mask gag.
Fourth mention goes to Gill, who managed to keep her lip gloss shiny all day, an extremely challenging task and one we know she is very proud off.
Our final mention goes to Denise and her team for hosting a wonderful Team Building event for all at Standard Life Investments, and of course for organising tremendous weather for us as well.
The Team Building, Crystal Challenge each day ended with three teams entering the dome to try take home the Crystal Challenge Trophy.
