We hope this blog will bring back some great memories of your fantastic Corporate Fun Day. Check out all the photos from the afternoon, and don't forget to leave us a comment at the bottom of the page with some of your highlights and favourite moments!
As the workforce arrived along the beautiful drive to the offices on Friday 30th August, the Big Top Circus Tent could be seen towering over the walls. The time had come, it was the BBQ Corporate Fun Day on the wonderful grounds of Belron.
With this being the last year of the annual Corporate Fun Day in Richmond, the event was based on an amusement park with the magnificent Giant Dodgems as the centre piece. With over 10 bumper cars, loud music and flashing lights it brought an instant smile to not just the children's faces but to all the adults as well. To compliment the Big Top fun throughout the Corporate Fun Day, Dozer the Clown had all his Circus Workshop games and entertainment out for everyone to enjoy. The plate spinning proved the most difficult, but a surprising amount of people showing exceptional juggling skills.
Surrounding the Big Top were three traditional Sideshow Games stalls, Hook a Duck, Coconut Shy and Hoopla, where a record number of prizes were won. The hilarious inflatable hammer was definitely the most sought after prize during the Corporate Fun Day. Also present right throughout the Corporate Fun Day was a fantastic farm yard animal display called Basils, where there was little ponys, ducks, rabbits, hens, chickens and so much more. It was extremely popular and with the opportunity to pet the little ones it brought even more joy to the already amazed faces of the Belron group.
After the BBQ was served it was time for the Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting competition. It started as a one horse race and with so many competitive people present the tension was really mounting as we approached the final clay. Then came the biggest surprise of the day - Ian, who had been an awful shot for the entire competition, struck gold and took the trophy from Jerards arms. Well done Ian, our most unlikely Laser Clay Winner of all our 2010 Corporate Fun Days...haha!
The Corporate Fun Day event ended on a fantastic high with the raffling of some awesome prizes, and and as the guests began to depart it was clear that everybody had thoroughly enjoyed the entire afternoon, and that the entire afternoon had been a massive success. A big thank-you must go to Karen for her part in organising such a truly unforgettable Corporate Fun Day, the Belron guests were a joy to entertain and we at Team Challenge Company certainly look forward to seeing everybody again soon.
