Saturday 14^th May  was the day of the Macmillan Cancer Charity Night held at the Airdrie Golf Club.  Team Challenge Company get involved with this local event to help raise awareness of this fantastic Charity and we are always so warmly received it's a real fun event.

The night kicked off with Club Captain John Main presenting the golfing prizes from the golf day held earlier that day and introducing the evening organised by a fantastic team of people & sponsors headed up by Jim and Ross.  We were also treated to an very informative and educational speech by Angela from MacMillan Cancer Support and reminded us all why we were here and how vital the role they play in supporting cancer sufferers.

We kicked into action with a fundraising race night and after only 5 races we had an extremely generous earnings for Macmillan of over £500, a huge thank you to all who bet on the horses and with the ladies race still to come plus a raffle and auction it was set up to be a huge night.  The evening section alone raised over £4,000 with money still coming in from donations, song requests and the golf day itself, well done everyone involved.

The quiz winners of the night were the Table Toppers on a magical 2700pts with Norfolk N' Chance going home the losers with a miserable 1700.
