BP Magnus
Thursday 14th December 2006
100 people filled the room of this fabulous venue in Aberdeen whilst they were greeted with Cocktails and Cold Beers. The group were then directed to sit at their tables in teams according to their departments where Team Challenge Company introduced the event with “Christmas Hit or Miss”. The teams listened to festive music and had to decide to put their hands on their heads for a “hit” or hands on their bums for a “miss” (lucky the cocktails were non-alcoholic!) The guests then enjoyed their starters and the Carvery and once finished they had to have their hands on their buzzers ready for the next activity of “Film Round”. Any event, which is organised with BP, is not boring to all aspects of the imagination when some of the Team Leaders participated in their very own filmed show of “Have I got Magnus news for you?” Clever eh? Team Challenge Company then rounded off the day with the last quiz round of “Famous Faces”, followed by Reindeer Relay!

The guests were absolutely delighted when they were sitting down for their meal, thinking it was an ordinary Christmas party, then suddenly the characters burst into action! The guests then had to think of a motive for the murder and who would have “done it” in this exciting test of wit and faith in the judgement of the other team members. Once the murder was solved the four actors took their bows and partied with the guests until the early hours.
AMEC Oil & Gas
Monday 4th December 2006
This Team Building event had a little Corporate Entertainment mixed in with it when 25 people from AMEC Oil & Gas turned up to try and win points for the Team Challenge Trophy! In the morning the teams headed outside into the cold light of day to participate in Mini Highland Games, Spiders Web, Scrambled Egg and the *NEW* and exciting Target Paintball. Then after a spot of lunch in the venue they participated indoors and outdoors at NASA Challenge, Plank Walk, Blind in Tent and Crane Construction. Once they had successfully completed all these challenges by rotating around them in their teams, they endured one more exciting feat with Bridge Build Finale! Each of the teams were asked to construct a bridge out of the limited supplies they were provided, the bridge also has to be strong enough to support a remote control 4x4 car to complete the task. And whilst the teams were nervously waiting to be called up to test out their bridge building skills, cheers of encouragement from Team Challenge staff and other teams helped them to find the courage to pull that trigger and drive the car over the... what in gods name is that?!
