From lavish gala dinners, to themed party nights, exclusive product launches or elegant drinks receptions, our dedicated events team can transform the Stratosphere to suit your requirements.

Versatility with style
Situated upon the Stratosphere, the Ozone is a contemporary venue blessed with dramatic, unspoilt views of the surrounding area and its very own outdoor terrace. Bathed in natural light, this versatile and soundproofed area can be used independently as a conference suite, breakout room or exhibition space. Alternatively it can be used in conjunction with the Stratosphere as a stylish entertainment and dance area for gala dinners or party nights.

For a truly spectacular affair combine your event with the use of our Earthscape galleries. Welcome your guests to a tropical tipple in the rainforest or treat them to a cool cocktail next to a real iceberg. Alternatively you can break up your conference with a walk back in time. Travel 15,000 million years as you go on a journey of discovery through the Dynamic Earth attraction.

the biosphere

Rooms for all occasions
Modern, stylish and versatile, with high arched ceilings and imposing windows, the Biosphere is our dedicated conference suite. Available as one large light and airy space or divided into two rooms, Biosphere Blue and Green, the Biosphere offers complete flexibility; ideal for business events that require additional reception, breakout or lunch areas. Alternatively the Biosphere has the capability to be transformed into a stylish venue with a portable bar and dance floor for dinners and themed party nights.

Contemporary thinking
If your event requires a more intimate meeting space, we can offer you our Salisbury Suite. Comprising of three individual meeting rooms and a dedicated reception area, complete with IT business facilities, use of fax, photocopier and internet connections.

the salisbury rooms

Offering a self-contained versatile and modern meeting space, the Salisbury Rooms can be used as a whole providing seating for up to 40 delegates theatre style. Alternatively it can be easily transformed to accommodate cabaret or boardroom seating configurations, presenting a high specification option for training sessions, press conferences and meetings. Alternatively our Salisbury Rooms can be split in two to provide a more intimate meeting space for up to 12 delegates.

Another of our dedicated meeting rooms, the Boardroom attracts bright natural light and breathtaking views of Salisbury Crags, ideal for providing you with the inspiration required for meetings, team building days or brainstorming sessions.

Our Dynamic Earth is located in the city centre at the bottom of Holyrood Road, neighbouring the Scottish Parliament, the Palace of Holyroodhouse and Holyrood Park. We are approx 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh Airport, and 15 minutes walk from Edinburgh’s Waverley Train Station. Car parking facilities are available on site.
